FWEND

So yesterday a new viewer demanded I should "raid and support smaller streamers". I do this regularly. What it highlights tho is a reminder: Many big streamers support smaller streamers. These small streamers often also hang out in their streams. SOME paint big streamers up as some sort of enemy.

We can't raid everyone on the platform. So we try to raid ones we have the fortune of meeting, which is often in our streams or other streams we frequent. If you happen to be a small streamer who decided "big streamers don't need my support", how are they supposed to give you any support?

We're all in this together, people having fun. The less you obsess about how to get a spotlight and the more you focus on socializing, the more fun you will have. Don't build a self fulfilling prophecy around treating bigger streamers like shit and then be surprised they don't raid you.

bluesky.chatbot.barrycarlyon.co.ukBluesky Live | BarryCarlyonBot by BarryCarlyonBluesky Live lets you mark yourself as Live on Bluesky when you go live on Twitch. This service will also update the title and thumbnail as you go and tidy up when you go offline!

26 June

This tool is incredibly useful. You can show that you're live on Twitch but if you sync with this you don't have to deal with that yourself at all. It'll keep your status set to live until you offline, and then it'll set it to not live. HIGHLY recommended to content creators!
