Games I’ve finished in 2026: a thread

Everyone has their favorite Jeffrey Combs Star Trek role. He was especially wonderful across DS9, but for my money Commander Shran was my absolute favorite. #startrek #commandershran #enterprise #jeffreycombs

Darko has the right idea

No YOU’RE reading at a house party.

No matter how attractive they may be.. October continues and so do the Horrors

If I could go the rest of my life only hearing about "fortnight" and not "fortnite", it wouldn't suck. Like, I accept the game is not for me... can I somehow mute it now?

I'm sorry but if you work in a morgue, you should know what a body looks like "when the heart gives out" versus "clearly had the shit kicked out of it by a demon" I don't care how strong the family pastime of guilting your kid is. #theoffering #abyzou

Tátra, amistróbin, hazárta. Tantír, manov, mansízon hazánzobar. Sumunda ropsa, darhis haikur dunsderódza. Kanda, kanda, kanda

How fucking white do you have to be to come up with "the chowder society" as a name for your group?

In an alternate universe there was a cartoon in the 60’s called Grigi and the Rasputeens.

Are Witches and Black Peter real in 2015's The VVitch? Yes. Are they the real villains of the movie? No. The real villains are Jonas and Mercy.

Haven’t drawn him in a long time but this is my OC Jork the Orc. He was born of World of Warcraft in 2004 and has wound up popping up in basically every story I’ve conceived since then. #orctober #orktober

Craig T Nelson is trash but Poltergeist deserved better than Poltergeist 2 and 3. #poltergeist

It turns out bigots were the real snowflakes all along... except unlike actual snowflakes they all look the same

So i says to Edith, i says, “Edith, somethings different about you, something ain’t right. Did you get your hair cut?” And she says to me, “Baba Baba dook dook DOOK”

I wish I could have met Kevin Conroy :(

It's weird that @sonypicturestv.bsky.social has basically failed with all their #spiderman cinematic properties with the exception of #venom and #thespiderverse. Yet they ended Venom at 3 films and keep trying with other characters. The people have spoken: they want Venom and #MilesMorales.

The Mayor is easily the weakest part of Resident Alien. The whole thing with the resort is fucking terrible and there is no logical reason for him to push so hard for it.

Marketing that has aged SUPER well, "Genesis does what nintendon't" Still accurate, just probably not the way they would have prefered.

You can’t spell “ignorant” without IGN

There should be a category at TV and Movie award ceremonies where they can celebrate times when old age makeup was successful in looking realistic not like ass. I love Picard, but this was the first example that popped in the gif search bar and it is indeed, ass.

Sad reflections on traveling back in time: 1. it isn’t real 2. It IS real but the best possible timeline still had hitler 3. It IS real but when you change the past it becomes a new timeline/reality and therefore you can’t experience the result of the change you created when you return.

Horror fans: #SaveWoT and we'll likely get an episode featuring a Purge town that resets every morning. It's metal. (112k signatures and counting!) savewot.com

How can you tell animals are better than people? When a bear craps in the wood, no one cares. Except Charmin. Because those guys are fucked up.

O’Hare is possibly one of the WORST villains in all literature. Not because he’s so evil… but because he’s just SUCH a poorly conceived (and all around shitty) character.

Rogue One is still one of the best Star Wars stories. Period. Every death stings.

Is it possible to finish season 2 of Andor without immediately watching Rogue One? Not for me it isn't.

Two things that got old before the start of season 3 of The Middle: No one remembers who Sue is Axl being an asshole #themiddle #firstwatch

On the one hand I’m excited to watch The Thunderbolts* especially because I keep hearing good things about it but on the other hand people kept ragging about how shitty other perfectly fine Marvel movies and shows were.

It's been a minute, time for some nostalgia.

The problem with most evil organizations is they have no appreciation for good marketing. You call yourselves "Inferni" and everyone is going to know right away that you're the bad guys. It's pretty fucking obvious. #brightsamuraisoul #bright

In my movie watching experience, I can honestly say that I've never experienced anything pleasant following the words "gravitas ventures".

Watching The War of the Rohirrim. I'm sorry but Wulf is a fucking moron. #waroftherohirrim #lotr

This may be an unpopular opinion but James Cameron should shelve the rest of his Avatar movies and just make more Alita movies.

If someone is really exhausted after a long shift of driving a big rig, are they all truckered out?

If I was the Doctor I would have absolutely NOT have continued to work with Brigidier Lethbridge-Stewart after he blew up the Silurian temple full of hibernating Silurians. It kind of spoils their whole ongoing relationship for me. #doctorwho #johnpertwee #silurians

If you’re new here, I’m getting back to my “I’m glad you’re here” videos from a couple of years ago. I need it. Maybe other folks need it too. #MentalHealthAwareness

Watching Doctor Who "The War Games" and I can't help but think that this was a direct inspiration for Star Trek Voyager story "The Killing Game". A google search tells me that no one else has drawn this parallel but surely I can't be the only one?? #doctorwho #startrekvoyager

Listening to the Ice Warriors speaking and breathing in early Doctor Who is maddening. I know WHY they're doing it but JFC.

Who told Patrick Troughton what passed as a Mexican accent? It sounds WAY more broadly European than it does Mexican. #doctorwho #enemyoftheworld

Working my way through classic Doctor Who on Tubi. Just started number 2

Finally watching The Last Dance. I love these movies. Tom Hardy is just so much fun as Brock/Venom.

A movie you’ve watched more than six times, using only GIFs
