Alberto de Murga

Back to work from my cold, which means it is time for the customary "another week, another fight".

My cold has evolved from "sneezing 30 times per minute" to "my body hurts like if I have been beaten up".

On the other hand, I love these recycling suggestions from the box 😆

Got my screen back, but they lost the power cord 🫠

Some good news for once: my screen should arrived repaired today 🥳

Tonight’s plan was a classical music x techno rave.

The last episode gives very much The Star ending vibes

Also, releases tomorrow :o

That’s A LOT of new stuff.

They are removing the external facade scaffolding. ⅓ constructions around my flat is over 😭

El cambio de hora bueno.

Alright, watched half of the second season of Edgerunners and I’m fully into it. The best thing is actually recognising every single location.

Thank you for your service 🫡 sheets.works/data-viz/hol...

Watched Digger in the cinema and for me that is how the White House works now.

How the hell did I hurt my thumb opening a coffeepot:?

Another week, another fight.

So no emotional damage this time?

MWF the hard drive degrading is the one that has the backups

Sure, no problem. www.techspot.com/news/114234-...

Another scary server message that basically means that I need to clean the dust and reconnect the HDDs 🥱

Since the Odido hack, the spam situation has been so bad that I am seriously considering changing emails :(

You realise how big is a cruise when you see it doubling the size of a concert hall.

I was concerned today about being tired for my Korean class to learn that today is holiday in Spain and therefore I don’t have class 😬

Another week, another fight.

RIP Deno :(

I just saw a trash car in Amsterdam with the seat in the opposite side like in UK. Now I am puzzled about how that car ended up here. I mean, it must be really uncomfortable to drive with everything on the opposite side.

No weee-WOOO today? 😨

Another week, another fight.

After looking into it, the adaptation is loyal to the original version. The one to blame for this is Bram Stoker :P

Beautiful adaptation of the classical from Bram Stoker. The only complaint I have is that van Helsing spoke German instead of Dutch. bookwyrm.social/user/threkk/...

I am reading a comic adaptation of Dracula and Dr. van Helsing, from Amsterdam, speaks German instead of Dutch 😢

2-3 weeks until the screen is fixed… if possible 🫠

I realised that due to poor connection, pictures of yesterday’s concert were missing. So here they are, a few :)

Ghibli concert!

Not only I am handicapped working at home, I don't have anywhere to connect the Steam Machine :<

I don't know how buy my monitor has died: no matter what, it doesn't turn on :( It wasn't even have two years old. Now is up to Coolblue to figure out what is wrong with it... if I can find a box big enough to send it.

A FREAKING LITTLE PLANE HAD A FLAT TIRE AND IT IS BLOCKING THE DEPARTURE LANE.

🇮🇹 ✈️ 🇳🇱 … I hope 🤞

So far I had the train cancelled due to construction, multiple buses with multiple delays, and now a delayed flight. I just want to go home 😭

40’ delay 🫠

Change of gate and 20’ delay 😑

2 people already asked me for directions. So this is how my wife feels in Japan…

Not sure if this bus is 5 minutes early or 10 late.

Thank you everyone for joining us at #NodeConfEU 2026! 💚 We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did, and we can’t wait to see you again next year! 📅👩‍💻 #TechCommunity #NodeCommunity

NodeConf is over. Now I just need to figure out how to get to the airport tomorrow without the monorail running and a strike.

booking.com just cut compute costs on their biggest Node.js service by 38%. No new hardware. No code changes in the service. All of it from the platform layer. And the heart of it is @platformatic Watt. 🧵
