On a beautifully sunny day last week we welcomed Thrive shareholders to our Dunmow solar farm in Essex ☀️ The 10MW project generates enough clean electricity to power over 4,000 average UK homes a year. #SolarPower

Our positive contribution to avoiding UK carbon emissions far outweighs our own carbon footprint 👣 However there’s always more that can be done and it's important to report on and reduce carbon emissions made during construction and operations. Explore highlights from our latest climate report 👇

Half year results are out 📣 From constructing our biggest wind farm yet to seeing the UK’s first geothermal electricity generated, we’ve been busy locking in impact for the next 30 years. #RenewableEnergy #Wind #Solar #Biodiversity

Dunmow solar farm is one of the first sites in the UK to achieve Wild Power certification! ☀️ A new standard in biodiversity for renewable energy projects, it verifies the #biodiversity measures we've introduced on site to help nature thrive 🦋 #SolarPower Footage Credit: Wychwood Biodiversity

With construction ramping up, last week was a really exciting time to visit our Whitelaw Brae wind farm with Triple Point. The 57MW wind farm in Scotland is expected to start generating later this year. We can't wait to see it in action! #WindPower

British solar has just delivered its strongest month on record ☀️ And it keeps going from strength to strength...

Solar Energy UK@solarenergyuk.bsky.social

Solar energy supplied more power to Great Britain’s grid in July than any previous month, while the sector continues to power ahead 📈 The figure of 14.4% of all power generated in July smashed the previous monthly record of 12.4%, set only in May. #SolarEnergyUK

Brilliant to visit Ambition Community Energy wind turbine with Triodos Bank and see the story of the 100% community owned project in action. Thrive funded the construction of this 150m turbine which generates income for the local community in Lawrence Weston, Bristol to support local development.

Last year, our clean energy projects generated enough clean electricity to power over 40,000 homes – that’s a town the size of Southport! We continued delivering on our growth plan, including progressing construction of our biggest project yet.

Recently our investment team swapped spreadsheets for spades during a day's volunteering for Ambition Lawrence Weston - the Bristol charity behind the ACE wind turbine which Thrive helped fund. Income from the turbine helps to support the charity’s work empowering and supporting local residents.

Together with thousands across the UK, we’re supporting the Better Business Act, calling on the UK government to amend Section 172 of the Companies Act. This will legally require UK businesses to balance the long-term interests of people, planet, and profit.

Key components touch down at Whitelaw Brae wind farm 🛠️ Blades, tower sections and more are currently being delivered to the site in Scotland, ready for the next stage of construction to begin. The 57MW wind farm is our biggest project yet. Can't wait to see the blades start spinning!

We’re committed to conserving & enhancing nature at our clean energy projects 🦋 Recently our Ops team got hands on with biodiversity measures at our Dunmow solar farm, preparing the soil and sowing the seeds for a new wildflower grassland habitat. #BiodiversityDay Video: Wychwood Biodiversity

Brilliantly busy first day at All Energy yesterday💡 Great to catch up with some familiar faces as well as making new connections across the sector. Looking forward to more insightful discussions today. You can find the Thrive team on stand D50 – hope to see you there!

Recently we went behind the scenes at the UK’s first deep geothermal power plant in Cornwall. As investors we're really proud to see the project in action - now generating the UK's first ever geothermal electricity ⚡

Really looking forward to being back in Edinburgh for this event 🎤 With the government sharing new measures to break the link between gas and electricity prices just last week, there is plenty to unpack. #UKSIFSpring2026

The government recently announced the biggest public investment into community-owned energy in the UK to date. But what does that mean in practice? We look ahead to next steps alongside others in the sector in Positive News 👇 www.positive.news/environment/... #communityenergy #renewables

positive.newsWhat does the new £1bn investment in community energy really mean? It’s the largest public investment in community-owned green power in the UK to date. But what exactly is being promised, and how can communities get involved?
