Here are some more extended thoughts I posted on FB re: Milwaukee perceptions and biases amid the Brewers World Series run.

This is the source of my dislike of the Wisco branding. I'm convinced the intent of many who buy the gear is not so much to be inclusive of the whole state, as it is to pretend its not the MILWAUKEE Brewers.

Milwaukee is having a moment but soon many of the usual suspects from around the rest of the state will go back to its potshots laced with thinly veiled racism. All while Milwaukee subsidizes all their public services.

Milwaukee always gets shat on by national media AND by most people in Wisconsin outside of Milwaukee. Only Milwaukee lovers in this space.

GREAT WORK by Cisse on those final couple plays of the drive. Defense survived a clear and obvious attempt by the referees to give the Lions 7. This is still a game.

NFL referees have been dramatically impacting games on a wider scale than ever before this season. I'm not even joking when I say that if the league isn't going to take action, congress should consider it, because the league has gotten into bed with the sports books.
