David Draiman (Distrubed): "Concerts should be unifying events. A time when we can shut out the noise of the outside world, and embrace our shared humanity together." Also David Draiman:

It's always weird to me when I know of a band, at least in name, and then I finally listen to them, and I'm like... why haven't I ever bothered before? Today, that's Anciients. And they're good.

It's weird living in this part of Virginia. The VOTE YES ON ALL 3 signs are nice to see. But seeing the amount of VOTE NO ON ALL 3 really sucks. Very basically, it's to add things to the state constitution. 1 is reproductive rights, 2 is gay marriage, and 3 is restoring voting rights for felons.

Those VOTE NO signs are a big "HEY, A BIGOT LIVES HERE!" display. But the one that really sent me was the VOTE NO ON 1 AND 2 sign I saw. So literally the reproductive rights and gay marriage. I'm just like... damn, man. People fucking suck.

Trooper West Coast IPA by Lagunitas Brewing Company (2026) - 3 ⭐ Good at the front, then quickly turns dry. The bitter note comes on strong and overstays its welcome. Maybe it was just the keg? Not a big fan. West Coast IPA Beer from California via @winesky.app 🍺 #beersky #california

Anyone have a Reset button for the day? Slept like shit. Spilled about $10 worth of coffee on the floor. Filter folded on itself and grounds got all in the system. Dumped the carafe to come back and see the clogged drip had unclogged itself, spilling coffee on the burner and creating a sludgy mess.

I miss my pirated FruityLoops from back in 2005, just doing goofy stuff with friends. Apparently, the closest DAW to FL Studio that is FOSS is LMMS. Great. I guess a lot has changed in 20 years, because …huh?

Also, more specifically, this: "No incoming-mail choice recorded comail has not changed delivery, but no MX records are visible. Confirm your current provider's DNS before relying on incoming mail." I see where it needs an MX record somewhere on Marque, but I'm unsure where to slap it.

MX, current provider, @, publish the MX records supplied by your current provider, add record MX keeps incoming mail with your current provider. Comail only sends outgoing mail. ^ This part. Seems to be telling me I need to add an MX record on DNS?

About half way through a PC build from hand-me-down parts from a friend. I'm comfortable doing anything with software, but hardware? I get nervous when I don't have the money to replace anything I fuck up / doesn't work. And with memory prices right now... All that's left is the connections. 🫠

Well, finally finished the build after spending way too long second guessing myself. Throwing various errors during POST. Asked the friend I got it from... "Oh, yeah, I was having the same issues with the motherboard. That's why I replaced it." ...πŸ™ƒ Bruh. A heads up before I spent time and money?

I can't believe I actually made it through my whole new music Friday list... very rare that I don't have a whole slew of stuff that rolls into the next week. I mean, I have quite the backlog, so that works. But still.

I'm always impressed by people that can speak several languages. Bro, how? I'm embarrassed to say I took French for 7 years and, while I can understand most of what I read, I can't communicate with it for shit. Tried to learn Spanish, and the obvious overlap is there, but it just doesn't stick.

Whatever fresh hell this Firefox 157 visual overhaul is better also come with better resource utilization. Putting a fresh coat of paint on this leaky browser (that I love so much) is just gonna piss me off. Pimp My Ride ass, put a fresh paint job on it without fixing anything under the hood.

Cloning a Linux install to completely new hardware. Would be using Clonezilla. Is this going to be a bigger headache than I realize upon booting? Should I just do a clean install and accept that I need to take the time to install everything and get it Just Soβ„’ again?
