Forced to retire (disability), I'm a former farmer, carpentry contractor, teacher, and software QA guy. I want what's best for everyone, from a humanitarian perspective.

Every Republican since Reagan: Government does not work. Me, looking at the USPS: Well, it worked untill they put a fucking Republican in charge, and he made it his mission to provide the 'evidence' to support the statement.

OpenAI after its AI agents hack an Australian Gov website: “We are sorry and working to do better in the future." “We are sorry and working to d̶o̶ ̶b̶e̶t̶t̶e̶r̶ ̶i̶n̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶f̶u̶t̶u̶r̶e̶ control the world and all its wealth." Fixed it for ya.

THIS is how an elected representative of a government by and for the people responds to a problem. Humility, humanity, grace, and compassion. If Zohran Mamdani were eligable to run for president, I've seen nothing yet that would tell me not to vote yes, yes, one thousand times yes.

ICE to its vastly under-trained 'field agents': Pause 'most' vehicle stops. Just until the furor dies down, then you can go back to extrajudicial killings," basically. ICE remains uncontrolled and uncontrollable. Justice demands it must be abolished, and that there be prosecutions.

Lindsey Graham was a simple, tragic man to understand. He lacked a moral core. The great empty spaces of his life were filled with an insatiable need for “relevance.” He found it as a cast member in the most malignant reality show ever made. steveschmidt.substack.com/p/lindsey-kn...

steveschmidt.substack.comLindsey knew better. He chose worse.Lindsey Graham was a lonely and unprincipled man who betrayed his country for power and his decency for attention.

When you've got nothing else, you revert to 5th grade tactics.

A common disinformation tactic is ad hominem fallacy. “…an attempt to discredit someone’s argument by personally attacking them. Instead of discussing the argument itself, criticism is directed toward the opponent’s character, which is irrelevant.” —Scribbr www.scribbr.co.uk/fallacy/ad-h...

Juneteenth reminds us that nothing about freedom can be taken for granted. As we commemorate the end of slavery in the United States, we are also called to reckon with the lasting impacts on Black Americans, and inequality in this country more broadly.

I also recomend watching or re-watching. A fantastic movie that tells the story of people pivotal to the success of the Apollo program, but which was hidden from history's view by the fact that not only were they women, they were black women.

I absolutely hate military flyovers at sporting events. Four military helicopters just did flyover in Seattle at the #WorldCup US vs Australia match. Say NO to militarism. #NoWarButClassWar

As the government raids “antifa groups” in Minneapolis with the SAME charges levied against myself and the rest of the Broadview Six, we need to be asking how they got this indictment. And as charges (hopefully) get dropped, we must remember the process is the punishment.

3½ months, billions of dollars, and hundreds or maybe thousands of deaths, all adding up to an incalculable human toll. But, hey, if the agreement holds up, we'll be back - well, almost back - to where we started. I don't know how much more winning we can take.

Absolutely 💯 Agree… “BOOING THE PRESIDENT OF OUR COUNTRY DURING THE NATIONAL ANTHEM IS NOT APPROPRIATE.….WE SHOULD ALSO BE BOOING HIM DURING PRESS CONFERENCES AND WHEN HE'S GOLFING. DO BETTER.”

When you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about, simply mention AI and drones, so all the people even dumber* than you will be impressed by your brilliance. * Not a typo. Dumber has "b" in it - many people don't know that, but it does 🥴

LOL! All true, except for the part about regret...

RSVP Dear Mr. Donald Trump, Jr.: I regret that I will be unable to attend your second—or is it third?— wedding. I simply have to leaf through an old Williams Sonoma catalog—or look up the difference between the words convince and persuade. I will try to make the next one! Or the one after that.

Tonight we congratulate our friend Stephen Colbert and his writers, staff and crew for eleven years of excellence. Watch Colbert’s finale tonight, and then never watch CBS again.

There's blinking, then there's blanking. Trump is blanking, most of the time. As are most of his administration, most of the time. Though, most of them except Trump tends to blank with their eyes open.

Mrs. Betty Bowers@mrsbettybowers.bsky.social

Yes, when humans blink, their eyelids remain closed for many minutes—and they slump their heads after about five minutes of having their eyes closed. Everyone knows those are the telltale signs of "blinking."

Enjoying Cinco de Mayo with a nice Marg and some taquitos Mexicano at a table for one, listenening to a loud group argue toilet lid up or down, and lifting the rim. Don't talk to me about lifting the rim - if you're a guy who stands to pee, you have no regard for the person who cleans that space. 1/

Melania - Your husband was gleeful about the deaths of Robert Mueller & Rob Reiner, he yells at & demeans female reporters on a weekly basis, he encouraged a mob to endanger the life of his former Vice President. And on and on. . . So, Melania, America is asking you to kindly f*ck all the way off.

The taxpayers should pay for the ballroom - that way, Trump can keep the money "donated" by the bribers and influence buyers, thus making it a better investment! It's a win-win situation.
