Timly Grae

Gawds fucking dammit. One step forward and two steps back.

What an absolute shit of a weekend. Every team I follow, except for one, lost this weekend. I drove 651 miles round trip to see my local teams on the road just to see them both look like they'd rather be anywhere else than playing the games. Well, they all go again next week.

My boss brining documents from the printer: Boss: Where do you want these? Me: Do you want me to tell you where to put them? Boss: I'll just leave them here then. 🤣

Hey @racingloufc.com , has Maddie Pokorney returned to the team? Locker room? Training?

Lort and Gawds, I wish people would proof read their skeets. Two sentences and there's a spelling error, a duplicate word, and two grammatical fuck-ups. It's too damn early on a Friday to deal with this shit.

One more lap around the sun complete for Rafe @manishakrishnan.bsky.social. Put the fire department on standby before you light the candles on your cake, yeah? Have a great day, man!

I'm off work after tomorrow. I've been singing a bastardized version a The Ramones song. Twenty, Twenty, Twenty-Four Hours to go-oh-oh I wanna be vacated!

What's an assumption you make about someone based on something completely unrelated? For me, it's if you drive a VW, I assume you use Apple products exclusively.

Today's lunchroom. Cloudy in spots, but it's not supposed to rain. But, it's the Ohio Valley. Wait 5 minutes and everything will change.

Effing kick it, already, you grotesque POS.

I'm tired, boss. The slack, apparently, can only be picked up by me. Meanwhile, everyone around me are twiddling thumbs on phone screens. Being GenX, with the accompanying work ethic aboso-fucking-lutely sucks sometimes.

Today's lunchroom, 87F and gotta be 45-50% humidity out here. But, look at the puffy clouds.

Today's lunchroom. The geese are well away across the road.

Got visitors for lunch. Won't stop their yammering. At least they're not trying to steal my food! 🤣

Post your favorite "Lords of the Rings" character(s). Wrong answers only.

The only OG left on the roster gets her first professional brace! She was in a good spot to get a hatty at one point, too.

Today's lunchroom. Trees are getting thick, but the flowers haven't bloomed.

Vamos Morados! The Boys in Purple to welcome league newcomers Jacksonville:

This is what the winners lunchroom looks like today. @loucity.com 2-1 Austin FC.

Three Open Cup games Four goals Tola Showumni is your Man of the Match!

The lunchroom is quite breezy today.

My lunchroom today.

@balisane.bsky.social Salutations on the day of your arrival amongst the creatures of the world!

First picnic of the year.

@loucity.com defenders have more goals than 14 other teams in the USL Championship.

Second best news I've seen today: www.reddit.com/r/Louisville...

I remember everyone talking about it when Elvis died.

I think that the Nobel Prize committee should rescind Maria Corina Machado's medal, but Alfred laid down that, once given, the prize can't be revoked. I get what she was doing, trying to placate Trump. But, you can't satisfy the greed of an evil man. Especially one who never faced any consequences.

I did some quick math. With all these young signings @racingloufc.com have made, the average experience per player is 3.3 yrs. 5 rookies, 7 second yr, among 28 currently rostered players. One has only had her DL long enough to go around the block. But, I believe in you Bev. The future is bright.

I'm thrilled about this signing. It points to the club looking to future success instead of stop-gaps to win everything now. But, this is the 4th or 5th post about being the youngest signing in club history. How about we treat her like a pro and drop the age reference like it's some kind of coup.

Oof! This one hurts. Ary has always been a joy to watch. Vamos Lavandas, Ary!

Season opener is 06MAR away at Lexington for El Bluegrassico, then the home opener against Miami on 14MAR. That like 87 days away or something and it's TOO DAMN LONG!!!

I remember watching All in the Family when I was a kid and thinking "Yeah, that's right!" every time Michael would call out Archie on his intolerance and bigotry. Rob Reiner was one of my earliest influences on how to be a fucking decent human being.

I had to get a new mouse. Of the ones available in my budget (it's damn near xmas), and with a similar button configuration that I'm used to, I got one with LEDs. I don't particularly like all my computer bits to glow, but it's fairly unavoidable. But, this comes with the ability to turn them off. 👍

I'm up relatively early on Sundays to get to the grocery, because, people. This morning I am still in bed with a cat sleeping on my chest under my blanket. Toasty little furball and it's chilly in this apartment and it's 8F outside and I don't want to move.

Some friends of mine have been looking to adopt for a couple of years now, and I was just told that they've finally been matched, and will be expecting a little girl mid-April! Woo Hoo!

@darktapestry.bsky.social , I don't think I like you anymore! One simple suggestion, and now I think I'm going to be as stuck on Winter Burrow as I was on Stray. Dangit! All I need is another time-sink game! 🤣
