I’m currently going through a depressive episode. I’m so thankful for my mood stabilizers for making these way more manageable! But a telltale sign that one is creeping up on me is that I feel so creatively blocked and empty. It’s frustrating, but at least I’m in a better place to work through it!

I thought I’d be able to get a lot of Pupa Project stuff done through recovery, but that is proving to be very difficult ;w; I was aiming to be able to release the first full chapter at the end of December, but I think it might take more time than that! Thank you guys for always standing by! 💓🐛

It’s not even the coding itself that will take a long time, it’s the art. I’m doing all the art for this project alone. The backgrounds, the CGs, the sprites. I was so so blessed to have a volunteer work on the actual GUI/UI! But besides that, everything is a one man job, as it stands right now! 🖌️🐛

Hello dear patients!! 💓🐛 I apologize for the long silence! I have been recovering from surgery all this past week and I haven’t had much energy! Things are going very well! If everything goes according to plan, I will be getting the drains out on Thursday! So I’m tremendously excited!! :D 💕🦋

Guys all I had was anxiety inducing dreams about posting it last night. IT’S HONESTLY KINDA COMICAL THAT THE OCD ART PIECE IS PROVING THE FACT OF HOW BAD MY OCD IS BAHAHA And it’s also proving the point of why I feel it’s so important to post. I AM STRONG. I AM BRAVE. I am working on a new art piece. I will most likely be finishing it tomorrow, but my heart is racing so fast just thinking about posting it. I am always very outspoken about mental health and what I experience, but the next piece is unlike something I’ve put out thus far.

Of course it will be explored in Pupa Project, but so far, my art of the project has mainly revolved around schizophrenia. So finally, I will be sharing a piece depicting my OCD thought patterns. And I’m kinda tearing up already thinking about sharing it because it really is so scary.

October is OCD awareness month, and I’ve explained a couple times that I was diagnosed with OCD a year before Schizoaffective. So, that means I never got proper help with OCD. Now, OCD is one of the most debilitating things I experience everyday. Way more than my psychotic symptoms, honestly.

ALSO! I hope you guys know that everyone has body hair. Even the ladies. It was just hard to show with all their layers. But shaving body hair did not exist until like the 1920s and I REFUSE to draw humans without things like their body hair, scars, acne, etc 😤 BECAUSE I LOVE THESE HUMAN TRAITS!! 🥹🩵
