Imagine talking to the creators of ChatGPT about the Attention is All You Need paper a few months before its release, and you'll be able to imagine what it's like to talk to @komorama.bsky.social with me on Live with Tim O'Reilly today at 8 am Pacific/11 Eastern learning.oreilly.com/live-events/...

learning.oreilly.comCan We Build More-Human Technology?: Alex Komoroske Live with Tim O’ReillyResonant computing, open systems, and charting a course toward a better future

Alex wrote something called the Resonant Computing Manifesto last year, and he's now building something based on it, which he calls Common Fabric. It's a completely revolutionary approach to making a human-centered version of the agentic future.

I've seen the prototypes, and it's something I've dreamed about! We'll be talking the vision, not showing it off yet, but even that will change how you see the future.

I'm really looking forward to this. It's going to be a little odd talking about it before it's released, but I will just say that what I have seen is very impressive. And even understanding the theory behind it will move the world in a positive direction!

Alex Komoroske@komorama.bsky.social

I’ll be chatting with @timoreilly.bsky.social about our work at @commonfabric.com at 8am Pacific tomorrow. Hope to see you there! www.oreilly.com/live/live-wi...

What is the value of human expertise when using AI? The Bitter Lesson says that humans should just throw in the towel. I don't buy it. The work of Andrew Odewahn, our CTO at O'Reilly, says a lot about why. Human expertise is like a lens that can focus the raw power of AI. Join us.You won't regret it

On 10/15, Andrew Odewahn will join @timoreilly.bsky.social to explore MCP, agent skills, stakeholder review, and how ongoing human-AI conversations can help organizations build and refine knowledge over time: https://bit.ly/4chZk4H

I'm really looking forward to chatting with Jesse. We'll talk about Superpowers and where Jesse has gone since then, why he has written a therapist for AI agents, and why it's better to treat agents as colleagues than as assistants. learning.oreilly.com/live-events/...

On 9/16, Jesse Vincent joins @timoreilly.bsky.social lly to share how a personal CLAUDE.md file and a handful of prompts grew into a methodology used by hundreds of thousands of engineers. Register here: bit.ly/4chZk4H

I'm really looking forward to this conversation. We should all be very interested to understand what's going on in the mind, so to speak, of AI.

On 9/9, Anthropic’s Emmanuel Ameisen joins @timoreilly.bsky.social to share what two years of research has shown about Claude’s internal representations. They’ll explore how researchers trace activation patterns, how Anthropic tests and observes said patterns, and more: bit.ly/46GDkMY

Prompt debt adds up fast, making prompts harder to maintain and migrate. In the latest #Radar, @timoreilly.bsky.social explores “prompt debt,” “fighting the weights,” and building AI systems that evolve with the models. Read more: https://bit.ly/4qbxj3K

"More than 333,000 Missourians lost Medicaid coverage from January 2025 through February 2026, with nearly 92% dropped because of paperwork issues — not because the state determined they no longer qualified." This is *before* complex work requirements are in place.

I’m chatting live with Harper Reed tomorrow at 9 am PT if any of you are interested. It’s a text based Q&A; only Harper and I will be live, but would love to channel your questions. If you can’t join, ask them here and I’ll lob the best of them at him. learning.oreilly.com/live-events/...

Totally.

If you believe that AI is going to have a big impact on work and life, the only real tool for mitigating bad impacts and channeling usage for good will be government policy And that policy will necessarily be very complicated: AI will impact employment & healthcare & education & etc. differently

Lawrence taught me scenario planning, so his approval makes me very happy!

Except it's not a constitutional crisis, because everyone's just basically shrugging. It's something MUCH worse! A constitutional collapse.

New from me: The Senate offered a bipartisan solution to the growing airport crisis. Mike Johnson rejected it, empowering Trump to selectively grab more legislative powers by illegally paying TSA agents. This is an actual constitutional crisis folks. 🧵 donmoynihan.substack.com/p/mike-johns...

Admitting publicly that you only want this bill that is designed to disenfranchise voters is necessary to make sure your party wins is quite a choice. The GOP has done away with subtlety and euphemisms and is now all "we need to cheat because the polls say people don't like us."

I am going to be interviewing Steve Yegge on Live With Tim O'Reilly this coming Tuesday. I would love your help suggesting questions for Steve about the future of agentic software development. You are also all invited to join, and can ask your questions there too. www.oreilly.com/live/live-wi...
