Demos are fragile ideas not finalized products. SJ offered a longer, more eloquent explanation. “… it's the disease of thinking that a really great idea is 90% of the work, and if you just tell all these other people "here's this great idea" then of course they can go off and make it happen.

And as you get in to all these things, designing a product is keeping 5000 things in your brain, these concepts. And fitting them all together and kind of continuing to push to fit them together in new and different ways to get what you want.

And the problem with that is that there is just a tremendous amount of craftsmanship in between a great idea and a great product. And as you evolve that great idea it changes and grows. It never comes out like it starts because you learn a lot more as you get in the subtleties of it.

And you also find there's tremendous trade-offs that you have to make. There are just certain things you can't make electrons do. There are certain things you can't make plastic do or glass do. Or factories do, or robots do.

It’s incredibly challenging to convince others about what feels intuitive to you while simultaneously building a great product with exceptional people who are new to building from scratch and bear the responsibility of freedom, coupled with the fear of politics.

The last few versions of Claude code spawn agents automagically, not sure what the logic. So far it’s been max 3 agents running in parallels and it feels pretty good mainly because much of the sea of text taking over the terminal is gone.

Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules and they have no respect for the status quo.

Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.

Corporate incompetence manifests twofold, being a dick or appear busy. Each develops its own flavor and permutations and resists all attempts to right the wrong, except for revenge decline.

Claude Opus 4.6 without Pro limits is amazing, especially when Sonnet runs in another tab. It’s like multiple Claude Code agents working together in the UI. I’m sure Anthropic will find a way to merge workflows between browser tabs.

The obsession with design tools doing code and IDEs doing design work is something we should tone down a bit. We have the best tools anyone ever had, at the lowest cost and barrier to entry. Let that sit for a moment. Okay, great. Let’s build useful things now.
