Yellow Thunder made use of the good lighting at Aero Gatineau-Ottawa during their twilight display in the pair of Harvards. Here, the fading sun casts dynamic yellows on the aircraft as they complete a barrel roll.

RCAF CF-18 Demo Jet from 2022 during the Cold Lake Air Show in Alberta. I was pleasantly surprised to see that in 2026, this jet still has its painted wings. I wonder how many other demo jets have had a multi-year paint?

Because sometimes the image looks better when the jet isn't the full picture. The CF-18 takeoff during the Aero Gatineau-Ottawa twilight show was something special with that sky in the background. Beautiful pastel colours.

A glimpse of the future at today's Aero Gatineau-Ottawa with the CT-157 Siskin II joining the Canadian Forces Snowbirds CT-114 Tutors for a couple formation passes. The CT-157 Siskin II may be the replacement aircraft for the Snowbirds demonstration team.

Lots of rain and storms today, so here's the P-38J Lightning from the Planes of Fame Air Museum at Airshow London with inclement weather casting a rainbow behind the scenes.

A little bit of humidity never hurt anyone, so here is a RCAF CF-18 Hornet with everything dangling out on a wet day at Airshow London, creating wingtip vortices even while flying slow. One distinguishing feature from Canadian CF-18s vs. other F-18s is the spotlight at the front, lit up here.
