it's amazing how art can help you time travel. this is such a great encapsulation of the wacky angst that underlies scott pilgrim vs. the world; i look at this and i'm instantly back in 2010, in a movie theater muching on popcorn with my best friend.

i was thinking about 'time' and how it seems to pass quickly sometimes and slowly at others. i wrote about it in today's short essay: toadpress.com ...now, for a very important reminder: time wizard from the yugioh anime was a cute lil guy trying his hardest 🥲 #essay #lifewriting #yugioh #life

i wrote a short essay about getting back to playing video games regularly after a long stint of life taking over my free time. i started playing Mother and Pikmin 1 and write a bit about both! (how have i never played either of these?) read at toadpress.com #mother #pikmin #essay #lifewriting

I recently started playing Mother / Earthbound Beginnings and I stumbled upon this beautiful advertisement that ran in promotion of the game back in 1989. "Don't cry until the ending." That mountain reminds me of close encounters of the third kind! #mother #earthbound #videogames #nintendo

Here’s the next comic in my Slice of Toad series. I had a lot of fun drawing this one, Toad is a very lovable but unfortunate creature. It’s nice how you can learn more about your characters as you spend time with them Read more at toadpress.com! #comic #webcomic #art #toad #oc
