By most accounts today, America was defeated by #Iran

As someone who just ran a Congressional race (and am not advancing thank you very much), I can state with absolute certainty that large amounts of $$ have no place in politics. It warps decision-making, common sense, and service to the voters. I would have voted to overturn Citizens United on Day 1.

Is NYT just doing its job by repeating what is surely another Trump lie? Or doing a disservice to the American people by spreading propaganda? These are the types of questions the media and politicians have to be asking themselves to navigate this moment.

These Trump accounts are a backdoor way to get rid of Social Security. Think defined contribution vs. defined benefit that got rid of pensions. No way we're getting rid of SS when I get to Congress. No way.

It's weird to me that we have to even ask/wonder/worry about whether establishment Democrats will hold Trump and MAGA accountable. It's so obvious to me that we have to. There will be consequences for every crime when I get there. Otherwise what is the point of being a nation of laws.

Why haven't we done a "rescue package" for the individual American who is drowning under the cost of groceries, gas, healthcare, and rent? That's what I will go fight for.

The people getting "killed" are not the politicians who might lose elections. The people getting killed are the workers forced to choose between paying rent, groceries, gas, and health insurance. Something's gotta give. #CA37
