Saw this quote from Trump in today's Washington Post. Utterly incoherent -- except for the last sentence, it's impossible to even figure out what the rest of it is supposed to mean. And yet his supporters have the nerve to accuse Kamala Harris of speaking in "word salad".

How do Americans now perceive Trump. The following is courtesy of YouGov by way of Daily Kos. It's a shame that the U.S. electorate hadn't figured this out back in 2024 when it would have made a difference.

I've always thought that Trump committed perjury when he took the oath of office.

The Constitution allows Congress to remove a President for "High Crimes and Misdemeanors," which can include abuses of power or violations of public trust.

Consider that not only did someone buy and wear this shirt, but someone else manufactured and sold it. In the end, I think this perfectly sums up the underlying ethics and morality of the MAGA movement.

Trump’s new line: “I could have sex with his five year old granddaughter in the middle of Fifth Avenue and he would still support me.” #Epstein #TrumpEpstein #PedoTrump

So accurate. Abbott, Patrick, Paxton, and the rest of them see themselves as real Texas he-men, but this is what they actually are.

Trump barks orders, like he did in the infamous call to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, and those proud, independent Texas Republicans sure do behave like a bunch of lackeys. #Trump #TrumpIsUnfitForOffice #ImpeachTrumpNow #TrumpisaNationalDisgrace #TrumpCorruption

While the NYT still does excellent journalism at times, this bit of mush from today's NYT morning newsletter is a perfect example of what they do wrong. No, it's not "unclear", because there is no way that tariffs will lower prices. None. And they know it, but are afraid to be that blunt.

Worth reading as a reminder of how addled Trump is. Better yet, start following Rex Huppke here on BlueSky because his stuff is consistently worth reading.

Opinion: It was nice of Donald Trump to travel to Scotland and show our European allies we're led by a self-absorbed, weird man in obvious mental decline.

Something a little lighter...here's a flyer that I saw posted in Kochel, Germany on a recent trip. My partner and I had a good laugh when we saw this. That said, it doesn't mean what it sounds like -- it translates as "We're looking for you".

One of those "dangerous gang members" that Trump is supposedly protecting us from.

I've been sharing all the Alien Enemies Act stuff on X and it's got HUGE engagement there too, actually. People are really fired up about this stuff across a lot of different political lines. For example, Andry's case in particular has shocked even some prominent conservatives.

The latest e-mail newsletter from Senator Cornyn (R-Trump's nether regions) shows that the man has gone utterly insane. See highlighted portion of newsletter wherein he suggests Trump deserves the Nobel Peace Prize. Absolutely disgusting.
