🪦 Tombs 🪦

Someone got a new tattoo (me)! This is a rad video the artist made and posted. Love it! Another skull for my skull arm!

See y’all in three and half hours… (I did factor in ads and previews)

WOW! That flick was far better than I expected. Given the title, I thought it would lack quality. Nope! Solid movie! I had a lot of fun during it! Hope y'all did too! Now it's time for me to catch some ZZZs. Have fun with #TechnicolorTerrors! Watch out for apes! #MonochromeCreeps #BrideOfTheGorilla

Lesson... don't anger old women who know jungle curses! #MonochromeCreeps #BrideOfTheGorilla

Oh heck yeah! We've got POV vision! Impressive for a movie of this budget and time. #MonochromeCreeps #BrideOfTheGorilla

Men will literally turn into apes and embrace the jungle instead of going to therapy. #MonochromeCreeps #BrideOfTheGorilla

#MonochromeCreeps #BrideOfTheGorilla

Barney Chavez (Raymond Burr) in 10 years... #MonochromeCreeps #BrideOfTheGorilla

OH GOSH! That mirror scene with the Burr and a man in an ape suit made me cackle. #MonochromeCreeps #BrideOfTheGorilla

"It might enlarge your knowledge." I like that turn of phrase. #MonochromeCreeps #BrideOfTheGorilla

Wonder if Burr found a bunch of banana peels in his pockets? #MonochromeCreeps #BrideOfTheGorilla

#MonochromeCreeps #BrideOfTheGorilla

I wish Burr were wearing a tie, so when he inevitably turns into a gorilla, he'd look like Donkey Kong. #MonochromeCreeps #BrideOfTheGorilla

Old women who deal with curses that involve animals? Yep! Lon Chaney is an expert in such things. #MonochromeCreeps #BrideOfTheGorilla

OH SNAP! That's Woody Strode! I know him from the Shattner shlock classic Kingdom of the Spiders! #MonochromeCreeps #BrideOfTheGorilla #MonochromeCreeps #BrideOfTheGorilla

OH! Mr. Burr is a bit of a rogue in this! Stomach-punching a dude to maybe get him bitten by a snake. Ripped straight out of a '50s pulp magazine. #MonochromeCreeps #BrideOfTheGorilla

Okay... I'd run fleeing out of a house that broke out the giant bible to say grace at the dinner table. #MonochromeCreeps #BrideOfTheGorilla

I'm going to take a wild stab, but I'm guessing the man in the white suit with the micro mustache is a bad, bad man. #MonochromeCreeps #BrideOfTheGorilla

DANG! Even did a double take when Raymond Burr walked in the door! He can Perry my Mason any day! #MonochromeCreeps #BrideOfTheGorilla

OOO! Our narrator is Lon Chaney tonight! We getting fancy! #MonochromeCreeps #BrideOfTheGorilla

Raymond Burr and Lon Chaney?!? I don't know if @barelyashley.bsky.social and @goblinkingjosh.bsky.social will be able to hold back their lust! #MonochromeCreeps #BrideOfTheGorilla

PRESSING PLAY NOW (on youtube) #MonochromeCreeps #BrideOfTheGorilla

WOO! This flick is on YouTube! #MonochromeCreeps #BrideOfTheGorilla youtu.be/8QF0JomX7j0?...

Woo! The art I made in a class today!

I forgot how much fun this is. Does it scare me? Naw. Do I really like it? Heck yeah! #TheLastDrivein #JoeBobsHalloweenHouseParty #WNUFHalloweenSpecial

Wait... was the name of that farm a reference to the classic flick Hack-O-Lantern?!? #TheLastDrivein #JoeBobsHalloweenHouseParty #WNUFHalloweenSpecial

Okay... will this episode include time travel, where our hosts end up on the news program we saw at the start? #TheLastDrivein #JoeBobsHalloweenHouseParty #WNUFHalloweenSpecial

Okay... whatever is going is pretty darn right now. #TheLastDrivein #JoeBobsHalloweenHouseParty #WNUFHalloweenSpecial

Love that the hair computer has a VCR on top of it. #TheLastDrivein #JoeBobsHalloweenHouseParty #BodyBags

I'm thinking I need to get this soundtrack on vinyl. #TheLastDrivein #JoeBobsHalloweenHouseParty #BodyBags

This afternoon, we went to a cat cafe to watch the MST3K episode Space Mutiny. So relaxing, so fun. @tacorabell.bsky.social

Pregaming for the penultimate #TheLastDriveIn episode (on Shudder 😉) with a delicious and most importantly @therealjoebob123.bsky.social approved Lone Star Light. Also of course rocking my Drive-In Famous koozie courtesy of @tombs237.bsky.social

While we’re all discussing Tom Skerritt, I want to take a moment to say that, yes, POLTERGEIST III absolutely rips. In a franchise of movies made for midnight, III is the undeniably the 3am movie and it owns that weirdness. Skerritt absolutely got assignment and helped make it all the better.

Gremlins 2: The New Batch is a perfect classic.

Hammer Horror films have such big fall vibes.

Normalize hunting billionaires for sport.

That's a wrap on another week of Monochrome Creeps! Hope y'all had fun watching one of my favorites! For a good laugh, check out the MST3K episode featuring this flick. Hope everyone has a wonderful night and the rest of your weekend! #MonochromeCreeps #TheScreamingSkull

I adore this finale with all the skulls flying at the screen and silly music. #MonochromeCreeps #TheScreamingSkull

So... ghosts are real then. #MonochromeCreeps #TheScreamingSkull

::cue the finale:: #MonochromeCreeps #TheScreamingSkull

In the world of the movie... did Eric use a real skull or is that a fake plaster one? Like... he feels like a shitty enough person to have dug up a grave and used a real one to save a few bucks. #MonochromeCreeps #TheScreamingSkull

For some reason, this movie always reminds me of What Lies Beneath. #MonochromeCreeps #TheScreamingSkull

I guess Eric could be into worse things... like crypto or collecting Funko Pops... #MonochromeCreeps #TheScreamingSkull

Jenni sees a skull: SCREAMS! Tombs sees a skull: OOOH! A new skull for my collection! #MonochromeCreeps #TheScreamingSkull

KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCKING ON JENNI'S DOOOOOORRRRRRR! #MonochromeCreeps #TheScreamingSkull

We don't get enough skulls in modern films. Come on, Marvel! Since you're almost the only studio left! Make it happen! (This is my way of saying don't cancel Ghost Rider!) #MonochromeCreeps #TheScreamingSkull
