This is a good read. Lucy was a former slave turned anarchist. Her husband was executed for being the ringleader of the Haymarket Affair in Chicago, Illinois c. 1887.

If any of yall have 2 hours to spare, you should watch this video. It's probably the best video essay I've ever seen on youtube. I really hope that it gets published as a text at some point. youtu.be/rhAHKI2-3so

Kropotkin: "We admit the imperfections of human nature but we make no exceptions for the rulers" Me: "We admit the bias of anarchist historians but we make no exceptions for the statists"

Statist historians are just as biased against anarchism as anarchists are biased for it.

In this episode of The Dugout, we speak with Lebanese anarchists about organizing and surviving through war, occupation, sectarianism, displacement, and economic crisis. At the center of the conversation is a simple principle: abandon nobody. Find where you get podcast

Precisely, it always infuriates me when people point out good things about Socialism saying ‘that’s not Communism,’ then point to one thing more or less monarchy (or as you point out fascism) and say ‘Communism is still bad but it’s that.’ Communism isn’t bad, people are just too bad for Communism.

I've personally never seen anyone critique Malatesta for using the term 'party' to describe what he called a 'specifically anarchist organization'. Yet somehow people think that calling platformist and especifist groups 'non-electoral parties' is an insult.
