Imgur is apparently shifting it's staff to ai "staff" and fired everyone with a pulse, so I'm once again wandering around without no place to look at memes at. Gonna probably save some horror memes here, but it's a shame that I can't realistically download everything I bookmarked over there.
Reading the cut version of Princess Bride novel just out of curiosity. It wasn't really my childhood movie as it was for so many others of my gens, I think Jurassic Park had a more stronger impact on me as a kid. But the book is fun. I kinda wish it wasn't the cut version since it's political satire
The United Nations agencies and humanitarian partners cannot overstate the urgency of this moment: fuel must be allowed into Gaza in sufficient quantities and consistently to sustain life-saving operations.”
Finished Evil Within. It was good. I liked many things about it, but it wasn't great. The story was ridiculous. And there was some rather comical stuff in it that made me think more about RE instead of SH, although the start was kinda "Silent Hilly". Might replay it some day.
I'm at the "this is getting frustrating"-part of the Evil Within. So many instant deaths. Still enjoying it. The story is pretty lame though. Very run of the mill horror. It would have been better if there hadn't been any story, that the things going on would have remained a mystery.
Daily scenes show the suffering of thousands of Gazans in lines for U.S. aid-assistance that has failed to ease hunger and has only deepened the hardship imposed by the occupation.

In the occupied Palestinian territories, in the city of Tulkarem in the West Bank, Israeli occupation terrorists are demolishing the home of the family of Palestinian martyr Nabil Amir.
A while back, I was asked to put together some work and pitch for a Texas Chainsaw Massacre comic series. My idea was something along the lines of Texas Chainsaw 2 - cops chasing Leatherface - but a little more tonally in line with the original. These are drawings I did for that.
Under the blockade of the occupying Israeli terrorists, the people of Gaza are battling hunger.
A young Gazan girl, overwhelmed with tears at a food aid distribution point, fearing she wouldn’t get her turn, held up her empty bowl and pleaded:
"Please fill it, uncle, please! I’m begging you."
Might try Evil Within. I have had the game for ages but never played it. And since I played horror games back to back, might as well continue. The remaining ones I have aren't horror, so best to get these out of the way first.
So far the game is difficult. I can't tell if it wants me to fight or run, since neither option seems all that possible. And I can't see with the guy and weeds etc. in the way, but the enemies can see me without a problem.
The World Health Organization says it delivered its first medical shipment into Gaza since March 2—just 9 truckloads. WHO described it as “a drop in the ocean” compared to what’s needed.
Here’s one of those “odds and ends” I’ll have in my shop Friday. This is a print of small #watercolor paintings from 2010 maybe. It’s a one off print. I love my #rocks. 🧡 #art#sciart
According to Storygraph I've read 22 books this year so far. Now that I remember to add them to my "currently reading" list first. The number would be higher if I didn't reread stuff with the lack of anything new to read. Even in those 22 there's bunch of books I've read once before.
I did not think I would be able to play Dead Island for very long, but surprisingly I did get into it. It's still somewhat merciless, and the autosave-system is awful, but I have been enjoying it so far.
Switched from gore filled space stations full of monsters to a beautiful vacation resort with palm trees and beaches full of gore and zombies. Dead Island might not be as fun to play than it is to watch someone else play.
I'm not a fan of no-progression and farming materials. I like it when I clear areas and boxes. I don't like it when every couple of minutes it's like you had never been to the place before. But I'll see how it goes. If I get bored with it or not. Also the driving mechanics are from hell.
“We’re in a very difficult situation because the hospital is overwhelmed. No ICU beds. Israeli army is very close. We cannot evacuate all the people that [are] here. So that’s it—civilians being mutilated by the Israeli army. Constantly. One after another.”
Jason vs June 13th
It's still Friday the 13th, right? Be safe out there!
Tip: Be sure to stock up on allergy medication if you're going on a killing spree.
Finished the original Dead Space. It was fun; a haunted house of jumpscares. Also feels nice because I have had that game in my shelf for many, many years.
Dead space is also about space-capitalism just like Alien. Why else would you need to buy your own ammo when in danger, and everyone else on the ship has been brutally killed.
So far the jumpscare-ride hasn't been able to get me. I do appreciate the effort to freak the player out by creating as many different kind of creepy crawlers as possible. Big, tank-like creatures? Check. Tall, lanky creatures? Check. But the only one that rly stress me out is the invulnerable one.
