i'm not saying goodbye to game dev forever, i still love making games and love the industry, even if it's shitty sometimes. i really hope i'll return someday. but for now i need to rest and recover, and see where my art thing takes me. thank you for being part of the journey and for your support 💜

but since it'll now be my only source of income, my commission prices will have to increase 🫠 i charge $100–130 for pieces that take 20–25 hours. that's only $4–6.50/hour before taxes and fees, so it's just not sustainable

i know commissions are expensive tho so i'm also planning simpler YCH portraits on VGen with fixed poses, less customization, and hopefully lower prices. (if you're already on my waitlist, the prices will stay the same)

so... i will now try living off my art for a while! it's scary to make art my only income tbh, but i've wanted to give this a shot for a long time so this might be a good time to try thankfully i'm lucky to have some savings, a family who can support me, and a good experience selling my art

went back to my home country for a 2 week vacation, it was SO COOL!! man i really needed that, it was my first time going back in 8 years now that i’m all refreshed it’s time to refocus on comms and finish the DTIYS 😌
