LOL i went to seminary before I decided I couldn't sit in a pulpit and make white people feel good about being racists every week. Taken in proper academic context, it doesn't say what right wing Evangelicals claim it does, or atheists for that matter. There's a TON of cultural context to it.

This math is very very wrong and this meme is nonsense. Churches are non-profits so wouldn’t pay income tax, like all other non-profits. They don’t have net income. Sales tax is state, and isn’t much. Property tax is county, and if non-profits paid property tax most hospitals would close.
