First time listing something on FB Marketplace. I really hope it doesn't make me hate FB more than I already do... www.facebook.com/marketplace/...

It’s been about 11 months since my last post on Bluesky. That’s along time. I kinda just stopped using it. But giving it another shot. How’s it going?

Job search update: 4 months unemployed. 22 applications, 17 rejections. Zero calls/interviews. But there’s a lot of people looking right now, especially after the Netflix and Amazon layoffs. Luckily, picked up some freelance work 1.5 months ago, so better than unemployment, but just temporary.

Almost 3 weeks of looking for work. 10 apps, 7 rejections (a lot of "role already filled"). Seems like a lot of candidates were already going through the process before I even applied - because nothing about hiring in this industry moves quickly. Reminder that sometimes it just comes down to timing.

A little over a week of unemployment. 7 job applications so far (2 already rejected, which is fine because hybrid). Can’t say I’m mad at it.

Started Diablo Season 9 on Wednesday. Name is appropriate.

So, now this glass is a collectors item, right? #XBoxLayoffs

Thanks to Apple, I think Windows Vista Aero is going to make a comeback.

If you use Wix for your website and it's time to renew your Premium subscription plan with the 20% price jump..., just go through the cancelation process and select "too expensive" and it'll immediately give you 30% off.

This SSD has a capacity of 4TB and a read speed of up to 7450 MB/s. The first hard disk I ever purchased (in the mid 90’s) was 2GB, more than I thought I’d ever need. This little thing can hold 2,000 of those and read the entire contents in .25 seconds.

Welcome new followers! I don’t post often, but I will strive to entertain. Or at least leave you confused.

The 12 principles of animation portrayed through a Cirque Du Soleil show. Excellent show. #DrawnToLife

Four games I’ve worked on.

I’ve been in Orlando for a couple of hours and can say with confidence that bangs are are thing here. So many women with bangs.

Just finished binging the first season of Silo over the last 3 or 4 days. Much better than I was expecting and hesitant to start S2 and having to wait a week between episodes.

Just got my Twitter archive downloaded. So now I guess it’s time to figure out how much of 16 years worth of posts will be deleted. Will probably keep the account, but I don’t expect to post there anymore.

It’s not done yet…, but I really didn’t think it would happen again. Unbelievable.

Anyone know of a drinking game for Tuesday nights election news? Cause I’m gonna need a drink and figured I’d try to make it fun.

I did this two years ago, after many years of not drawing anything. Every once in a while I look at it and think about drawing again, but never know where to start. #Procreate

Hi everyone! Posting here too: I’ve been affected by this week’s layoffs at Riot and am looking for work ! I have over six years of experience animating for video games and have worked in Unity, Unreal, and Riot’s Proprietary Engine. Some credits: League, Oxenfree II, Kena, Foglands Aharonit.com

Did twitter blow up or something and everyone is coming here? I suddenly have new followers after having no one new in a very long time. Also, hi new followers. You'll soon see that I hardly ever post anything..., unless I'm posting about how I never post anything.

I haven't used Maya in over a year (been using MoBu), but I decided to keep it updated..., just in case I feel inspired to start a side project. And yes, I know 2025 is out (I can't believe I'm so far behind). I'll probably install that next.

If you’re waiting for a delivery, they’re all here. Figured they would be better coordinated than this.

Upgrade from my old Razer Blackwidow keyboard. Went with Keychron Q6 Max and GamaKay Pegasus silent switches. Feels great to type on and sooo quiet. Just waiting on new keycaps.

Wife got me a lighting kit for my Star Wars trench run Lego diorama. Came out great.

One of the things I love/hate about Long Beach. At least it's different and never boring.

I started playing Baldur's Gate 3 and Starfield the same week. I've been going back and forth between the two, so it's going to take forever to get through either one of them.

Finally got an invite. We’ll see if I post here more than I do on the other one(s).
