Whenever I see the word 'JETS', I always expect to see an equivalent thing saying 'SHARKS', and, to be honest, that would really change the whole vibe of this hot tub experience.

Just watching the latest Slow Horses episode and I'd love to get myself some of those massive windows that fix themselves shortly after being shattered by bullets. That's some fancy tech right there.

Earlier, I saw someone I went to secondary school with. I pointed him out to my wife and she could *not* believe it. "What... him?! But he's an old man!" And *that* kind of handjob-for-the-ego is how you stay together for thirty years, kids.

I was about to post this, by saying "I noticed something interesting..." but then I realised that it's only interesting if your brain works in the same stupid way as mine does. Anyway... I noticed that the Walkers crisps logo doesn't have an apostrophe, but their continental equivalent Lay's does.

We gently launched our show at Leicester's 'Independent Comedy Festival' last week and, well, I just got an update on ticket sales. It's a big room. Arguably *too* big. And... I am really thrilled by how it's going, given the half-arsitude of our advertising. And the fact that it's not for 3 months.

Any recommendations for non-fiction books that I might enjoy on my holiday? If it helps, I really enjoyed: - The Wager - David Grann - London Falling & Empire of Pain - Patrick Radden Keefe - Educated - Tara Westover - Autobiographies by J Cooper-Clarke, Johnny Vegas, Paul Sinha & Brett Anderson

I've had an absolute dogshitbinfire of a day, and now I'm about to embark on a 4 hour round trip to do a gig I suspect might be horrible. How's your day going? That's a rhetorical question. I don't want to know.

The latest episode of Slow Horses feels a lot like they're ramping it up for a series finale featuring a cheeky (but charming) little blond chap trapped in a fancy house, fighting off bad guys using improvised traps? It's basically just going to be Home Alone, isn't it?

That footage of Reform councillors being horrid racists has finally managed to bring anti-Reform people and pro-Reform people together. At last, we're all saying exactly the same thing: "This is what we expect from Reform, and this is why we feel like we do about them".

Look - feel free to share this. Particularly if you're the sort of person that's got some clout. I don't have the followers numbers that I used to on... the other place, so I'm really pissing in the wind here. And I'm wearing light grey jogging bottoms*. *Obviously not. I'm not a monster.

There are many things that could be improved about the USA, but the top one is surely the fact that they allow people to be named 'Randy' & nobody bats an eyelid. I used to work with a guy named 'Randy Infant'. You can't be expected to run a serious country with people called THAT wandering around.

I appreciate that you won't be able to read it very well, but this is a blue plaque, on a house near where I live. It commemorates the fact that it was once the home of Inspector George Abberline - one of the primary investigators in the Jack the Ripper case. Now - here's the thing...

The Jack the Ripper case is - famously - unsolved. This man did a BAD job. They've given him a blue plaque for *not* being able to solve a high profile murder case. I don't mean to sound arrogant but I am *also* capable of not solving that case. And nobody's asking where I want *my* blue plaque put.

To be clear - the cat didn't make the mouse thing. My wife made it. It would be insane to expect a cat to have crocheted a cute little figure. But I know what you're like.

Just been told by someone on Facebook that I have a 'sexy mind' and - given my rapidly deteriorating physical state - I think it's the nicest compliment I'll ever get.
