Over the past week what has become absolutely clear is that Frank is an archetypal small club manager. In that he sets his teams up in order to counter the strengths of the opposition. And not in order to beat them. Against PSG he set them up to save his job.

Two matters arise from this. Firstly, how long will his change last? Secondly, how long will those who issued the directive (memo) give him to prove his spots have changed?

So, it’s November and we sit ninth. The problem is that people (podcasters) are seemingly beginning to see that T.Frank is probably limited as a coach. His limitations are simply that, at best, he can get small teams to play well enough to finish in the higher mid-table positions.

Last season he had a fantastic season and Brentford finished 9th. When I said, in the summer. I was told I was an Ange this and that. Maybe, I DONT WANT HIM BACK. But at least we all knew how he wanted to play. We can wait for as long as we like but Frank’s history from the start says mid-table.

If this is the result of Frank concentrating on the defence… he needs to go before he concentrates on any other part of the game. His man management skills …. Well I can’t work out what he does??

Let’s be clear. I want T Frank to be successful. The main problem I see lies in him following Ange. Ange was /is exceptionally outstanding as a motivator. Otherwise we wouldn’t have won the Europa League whilst at the same time not focusing on the premiership! Frank isn’t that type of manager.

Finally, Read the excellent book called Miracle in Bilbao to get some idea of the ongoing roundabout and possible reasons as to why Ange gave up on the premiership when he did!

On top of that we have lost a group of young players with some experience of the premier league and replaced them with another group of young players with no experience. This is not good last summer we needed some experience we still do.

My biggest worry lies in the fact that some ITK’s who work for the press seem to think that we will sign Simons and another plus we have a m good chance of getting out of the group stage! Pretty sure Levy can Sort all of those aspirations with ease!

Any chance we put a clause in Mickey Moore’s loan deal allowing us to bring him back if we need him due to injuries. Cause he ain’t playing for Rangers. Also how come we loan players to clubs who won’t play them. Micro managing Levy couldn’t micro manage a brewery!

I see we’ve signed a 16 yr old from Celtic I guess he will go straight into the 1st team this week-end! What do you mean NO! Levy and Lange are supposed to be working very hard and pulling out all the stops to sign a 10 and 3 others… reminiscent of the past 29 odd yes! # Levy please GO NOW!

Sonny is leaving. The difference of my feelings about him leaving now and when Kane left are immense. What a player? What an icon. Most importantly, what an amazing human being.

Let’s not kid ourselves, if as the transfer window activity suggests we are not only going to fail in winning or getting 5th place in the premier league and are very likely going to be out of the CL by Xmas. We are also going to be out of the league cup by the 4th round and the fa cup by the 5th.

All this by the chair of the board who recently stated that he, and presumably the board want to win the premier league trophy and the Champions league trophy as well. Not this year nor the next 3. Levy, the Milton Keynes, of premier league chairmen.

The Levy led board couldn’t arrange a piss-up in a brewery, let alone put together a team to play in a stadium they built! Football is a sport not a business!

TBH, I can’t believe anyone still believes that Postecoglou managed to finish 17th in the league and win the europa league without the passive help of the board led by Daniel Levy. Just like Pochettino, Maurinho, Nuno and Conte. Levy’s legacy is there for everyone to admire Hotels and all.

Deos anybody seriously believe Daniel Levy is prepared to fund Spurs sufficiently to win either the premier league and or the champions league? After watching the type of players Liverpool, Chelsea and Woolwich are buying ?

Am I allowed to say that Im underwhelmed with mid level premier league players who have none or little experience in the CL ! Still Levy wants to be a winner. Hahaha. Personally I’d like him to concentrate on making the money.

Given the changes to the board it’s amazing that we are building a bigger hotel complex rather than investing in Premier league ready players. Good job TF has Brentford players up his sleeve.

Im so glad that now both the Aussie’s have gone we are now able to sign premiership experienced players rather than the fresh faced youth in order to develop them. “”We want to win the premier league and the champions league not just some tinpot competition that we last won 41 years ago! Pity Frank

2 nd interview Daniel has said time after time that he wants Tottenham to be winners. He has never backed his chosen manager/coach with big Money /wages for top players, Daniel saddled Ange a squad that was only capable of winning one trophy. If Thomas doesn’t get big players he will be sacked in 2.

I thought Thomas was a shoe in for signing today. Is he now a doubting Thomas in terms of getting the players he thinks he needs ? Welcome to N17 ! Don’t sell your house, just yet.

We spurs fans have often been called fickle. At the end of the season where many, if not most, fans started by saying silverware was more important than league placing. We get rid of a manager who has won silverware at every club he managed bar one. And replaced him with. Manager who has one nothing

The next Spurs coach/manager needs to understand that even if he or she wins silverware he /she can’t win unless they finish in the top 5 of the league in order for the boards cash cow called Tottenham Hotspur to function at required level of putting money in the select fews pockets.

So if it’s true that Ange didn’t improve players via specific training /coaching. Then he must of attracted players who could play for him. This in itself was a major step forward in Enic’s time!

All those trying to claim Levy’s hand was forced in some way. How come his staunchest ally through this spurs career Donna Cullen left because he didn’t want dissent on the board!

So now we get a new manager and a new project. After the last manager won us silverware which the club and many fans put as the top priority last summer. The favourite is now T.Frank whose side has finished midtable for the last 2 seasons. And inany case Levy needs to spend £200 mil. This summer!

Here is a dilemma. Spurs supporters are generally united in the idea is good at business. And that the table position is unlikely to improve significantly. There is also a growing feeling that either Levy and or Postecoglou must go. As much gnashing of teeth it seems to me that ST HOLDERS should …

No longer attend league matches home /away and not sell them on or give them to friends or Exchange them and at the same time encourage non ST holders to do the same. Yes it would possibly mean losing some money. However levy would lose more and he might start taking supporters seriously!

Having watched the highlights this morning I saw something I didn’t see at the game. After, his goal line clearance Dragusin dived ( keeper fashion) full length to prevent the second shot from going in. In any case it went just wide. It’s a clear indication though of a players will to win.

Far be it for me the kick a team further down when they are carrying a lot of injuries BUT Woolwich manager Arteta claims their balls flew a lot last night. I’d guess that that’s is hard to play with. Hahaha!

On the whole I’m not posting much these days, however does being relegated whilst winning the europa league prevent a champions league qualification? And if not would that constitute a good season given a trophy is won?
