Elon forgets that he doesn't have an actual army to back up his threats. Sewell Avery, the CEO of Montgomery Ward, decided to refuse an order by FDR to negotiate w labor unions during WW2. FDR sent the Nat'l Guard in to literally remove him from his office😆 Would love to see Elon get perp-walked.

Brazil was once run (not too long ago, actually) by a military junta. They understand the corruption and injustice under an authoritarian regime. They knew what to do this election. In two weeks, we have a similar choice to make. Vote accordingly. apnews.com/article/braz...

Israel is just 2 days away from a critical election, and thousands of protesters are filling the streets of Tel Aviv demanding Netanyahu’s removal! They’re demanding accountability for October 7 security failures and an independent commission of inquiry.

Ronald & Nancy were the templates for the modern GOP. Everything about them: their fake Christianity, their callousness toward the less fortunate, their obedience to the super-wealthy/corporate interests and their utter disregard for any science unless they could use it to support their narratives.

If this happens to you, take your ballot to the election official and INSIST that they give you a new one. They must comply with that request by law. Tell them so. And then keep doing it until the machine registers the correct vote.

"A relatively rare occurrence"? There have been 16 prosecuted cases since 2000. More than 1.3 billion votes cast in state/federal elections over that span. Calling that "relatively rare" is like saying Bartolo Colon home runs are relatively rare (FWIW he hit 1). www.nbcnews.com/politics/jus...

nbcnews.comBlanche won’t rule out DOJ post-election action in a ‘doomsday’ scenarioThe attorney general’s comments come in the middle of a broader campaign by the Trump administration to zero in on what elections experts say is a relatively rare phenomenon of voting by noncitizens.

I posted this a year ago and it is still very relevant. Early voting has started. Remember this when you go to vote. Go make your voice heard. ✊

This is the way forward as long as Trump is in office: individual states passing/enforcing responsible laws that limit corporate malfeasance . Hawaii passed one that limits corporations' election spending and does not recognize their "personhood". Contact your state legislature for more.

The first domino?🤞I hope people keep suing them for stealing/misusing all their data, forcing every 'tech bro' social media company into bankruptcy. They could have prevented all of this had they just been responsible citizens from the start but they chose $$ instead www.nbcnews.com/tech/tech-ne...

Musk threatens to retaliate if the Dems win both houses and begin investigations into his businesses, which oddly enough were the reason he and DOGE disassembled the agencies already investigating him. If for no other reason, VOTE BLUE and send him a clear message!🖕 www.forbes.com/sites/antoni...

After acquiring Bioware, Microsoft is dismantling the maker of some of the best PC games ever. I'm guessing they think AI can do just as good a job. It can't and won't. Microsoft is run by greedy morons whose only objective is "shareholder value." *That* is what the AI/data center boom offers.

Some good companies here, ruined by the corporate oligarchy and the refusal of the DoJ to enforce anti-trust laws, although that last aspect has been true for every administration since Reagan.

Ramaswamy is very much on brand with the GOP's predilection for siding with sexual predators and targeting the victims. Honestly, he should just change his name to Ramasewer for truth in advertising purposes, but already we know everything he says & does is a lie. www.huffpost.com/entry/amy-ac...

ICE is more of a political lodestone than it is worth, even if they have somehow deported actual criminals, which I highly doubt. Given that 73% of people they have detained have no criminal record, it is safe to say that they are the most incompetent law enforcement agency ever. Defund ICE.

Think our effort to address the damage done by DOGE Is over? Not at all! We just won summary judgment proving that they abused our data And we are also litigating in fed court on behalf of the countless people they injured at USAID
