I'm not in a good place mentally now (well, relatively compared to before) and I can't take my eyes off theatre so may as well say something. From the bottom of my heart, I don't care for the tears of my adversaries. The pain this guy is feeling is bad in its own way, but it's not my concern.

You’ve probably seen Ed Sheeran’s (teleprompter-read, PR team-written) apology by now— here the part where he cried and apologized for the apology at the end of the concert👇🏽

In this particular scenario, what I want to see is Ed apologising for his failure to stand against genocide, choosing to "not take sides" here when he did with Ukraine, and make amends with his former colleagues and, I assume, friends. Otherwise, I wish for his career the same as all like him.

Be it for self-interest or to make a statement of your own, if your integrity as an artist means you choose to not express yourself over a real genocide happening now, your career is worthless to me. I extend this to so many "apolitical" artists and creators out there. Fuck your soulless brand.

Topic of the moment is GTA6, and like everyone else I have opinions I wanna share. First and foremost, I don't know why we're all ignoring the culture of crunch that studios got a free pass for it now, Rockstar especially. Second, not only did we give $70 price tag a pass but now for $80!?

I have genuine concerns over the content of the game on top of all the other weird happenings surrounding it, not least of which are having it win consecutive "most anticipated game" prize in the VGAs. But maybe I'll post my thoughts on those later after I sorted them.

For now I'm shocked, I repeat shocked, that gamers are so fickle they'd give publishers a pass on these issues. /s We're talking about a consumer group that to my memory had exercised the least amount of self-control despite all industry ruining scandals. No wonder Sony will just ignore their cries

Hey. 0721 is a special day, 0721の日, in Japanese fanspaces. 0 for オ 7 for ナ 2 for ニ 1 for ー And what's special about it is that's the same release(lol) day of Seitokai Yakuindomo movie.

After thinking about it for a day, yeah I'm gonna go silent here. Not my alt, since I more or less said silence is compliance (but I should hold back a little). This account OTOH? I may browse my TL for fun and treat bsky as something else entirely. Anyway, announcing departure while not airport.

"Fun" aside: I thought of using the phrase "get bent" because I assumed it's directed at one's genitalia. Most sources say squat on the origin except Urban Dictionary, sadly the best in these scenarios. "Get bent" means more or less "get sodomised"... Yeah, retiring that one.

I'm considering effectively "leaving" this place like I did Twitter. I'm still on Twitter because the few I follow there outweigh all the other shit. Can't say it's the same here. I know damn well to appreciate anyone listening to my dribble, let alone the good few I choose to follow. However...

My input won't be missed. Those who will miss it, sorry. But you can always find better. I'm glad I at least managed to discuss my gaming experience as I went for once, especially the weird obsessions that kept me up at night. And reading everyone elses is always fun too.

As for the scumbags reveling in their bigotry, never forget you dragged your feet here from Twitter because you're losers. You're such sore losers that you still yell at those you shunned for shunning you back. I'm glad the rest of us aren't as deluded that we'd sell our souls for nothing. Monsters

However, when I track topics that matter to me I see the majority of this hellsite top to bottom are soulless scumbags who wish to erase my identity. It's legitimately '00 forums level, not quite 4chan but still the same amount of unrestrained depravity. Only now these assholes mean it.

Chrono Cross: As predicted, by the time I got Kid her stats became relatively garbage. As for the story... it shows that it wasn't written by the original writer. As far as anime and games go, I rarely ever experience direct sequels written by different writers. And yet I can tell when it happens.

@diplomatofnight.com You'll never guess who's saying "it's complicated".

Will Stancil@whstancil.bsky.social

Sure. I mean the gist of it is that people were broadly insisting on the claim long before there was any real evidence, and it’s led to a fact-finding environment heavily biased towards collecting this specific sort of evidence but lacking any kind of holistic perspective. It’s complicated though

I just saw someone here compare a white person being unwelcome to segregation. Before anything else, let me admit up front: It's my fault for reading that. I could've done anything else in the time I spent chasing that trail. That said, that thought is so shameful you'd think it came from 4chan.

Fun stuff for later. Quick note. I see anyone trying to justify the last admin in any sense and I'll know they're human scum. Call it a "purity test" reserved for regular people, not just those with power. I've never encountered anyone more repulsive than one longing for a different genocide.

Chrono Cross: As I said before, seeing the character stats made me get so obsessive over it I meticulously calculated exactly how they differed from expected average. I did this for all 34 characters, many of which I'd never consider as party members in any playthrough. The results were something...

With all that said, I admit this doesn't matter too much. The game isn't hard, nor do I hate it because it makes the game unplayable. But as I would do in any good game that bothers me, it's enough to overwrite most of my gameplay experience. It's enough to make me contemplating cheating to fix it.

I hate randomness in level up systems. I hated it in one of my faves Castlevania SOTN, I hated it in every Fire Emblem, I hated it in Saga Frontier although it's complicated; and I especially hate it in Chrono Cross. All it gives me is FOMO, that I'm underpowered by chance.

Magic growth across all characters is weak. Res especially. I lucked out with Riddel and Miki (and Serge) but the rest? Oh dear. And again, playstyle might factor in. I have no reason to use high level spells against bosses. And forget summons, not when I STILL don't have full element fill spells.

What about physical growth? That's another cruel joke. Literally my strongest attacker is Zoa who has the weakest stamina recovery. 2nd is joint Serge, Fargo and... Zappa. Also bad stamina. Someone with poor stamina yet had bad stat gains when he's typically more powerful is Karsh. I give up.

While randomness is at play, my best stat growth across ALL characters is defense. Serge especially at 40 stars has +18 higher defense than expected. It's possible that playstyle factors in, and in that case I feel like I'm experiencing one cruel joke after the next. 2nd best btw? Sprigg. 🤦‍♂️

And quick word on noted "good" characters or fan favourites. Razzly, Greco, Grobyc? 2 are Serge recruits and therefore weaker while Grobyc I guess I was just unlucky. At least Riddel and Fargo turned out good, but the latter is more because I have to use steal at nearly every boss fight.

What differs is how often characters are within the party when I gain stars and therefore "level up". Chrono Cross doesn't have a typical system, and per star gain I have to fight at least 1 regular battle with each character for an extra mini level up. Yes. Regular battle for EACH character per ⭐.

I don't know when I noticed this myself and adjusted to it, but because Serge never leaves he has the best gains. The rest are divided into 2 groups: Serge recruits and Lynx recruits. The latter were around the longest so generally have better gains. And late recruits are more or less screwed.

First off, Pip is exceptionally weak. A few factors played into this, but this is the most predictable outcome for any player. Now on to the meat of my findings. Stat gains work much like Fire Emblem. Few characters will likely grow better physically/magically than others, but it's also random.

Does seeing a reply like that strike a nerve that's block-worthy? I guess it would. But bro was bragging about how they refused to read the evidence I posted and still expected I present more. If there had to be a winner here, it's him. Oh well. Gotta take that shower.

Then you don't care. Simple as that.

Obsessing over some old game's design philosophy both due to the era it came from and because it was honestly just the devs' best effort to innovate is funny in hindsight. Obsessing over some prick OTOH isn't. *sigh* I need a vacation.

"In defense of the genocide denier--" Fuck off. Both you and him can royally fuck all the way off a cliff. This is about a quite infamous figure here who namesearches himself and even doxxes people over jokes. First name rhymes with gill.

Chrono Cross: The plan is to post a very long thread on my thoughts of the game after I beat it. But first thing's first: I wanna talk soon about my paranoia on stat spread across my currently 34 character roster and how I calculated exactly how they differ from expected average. In due time.

Am I in the middle of a shitty bingo or something? I saw someone justifying a form of rape, another downplaying being a nazi, and a lot telling me genocide wasn't so bad! Granted that last one is almost daily but still! What next? A liberal finding this account and-- fuck... Take it away, Vegeta.

EVO 2026 Hokuto no Ken was everything I wanted. Well, everything minus seeing every character in action but given the game's roster balance that's a tall ask. It's one of the best accidents in fighting game history, and a rare case where both the matches and source material are touch-of-death type.

Not the worst thing I saw today, I frequent Twitter for a reason even when it's full of Zionists (but not as bad as this place somehow). Putting aside the absolute gall of what passes as rich people hobbies, I feel especially disgusted at the waste of food. And I shouldn't say more on that.

This post is unavailable.

To expand on how bad the "not as many Nazis" site Bluesky is, I still see people defending Biden here. Not even bothering to differentiate Harris from him, not that it ever worked since she was his VP. People actually long for a genocide that they can ignore. Fuck those monsters.

Chrono Cross: Is this my fault for not looking at a guide about each character? I just learned about Pip's evolutions and went on to do it quickly. Unfortunately still weak as shit. It may have a rare heal all HP+status, but given the normal battle tempo that's worthless too. Cute devil though.

Monster Hunter Wilds: I appreciate much of all non-combat stuff in the game so far... barring a very stupid plotpoint but nevertheless. After World, Rise looked to have an interesting direction, and Wilds went further. I'm gonna remember the games for more than the weapons+monsters.

Monster Hunter Wilds: What an unpleasant discovery. I should've noticed it when the skill became available so early. Evade Extender got a MAJOR nerf. In World, and also Rise until blast dash, it is THE movement option for GL. Now the effect is more or less halved. At least GL is much more mobile.
