I wrote a comprehensive post dispelling many incorrect assumptions about Copyleft vs Permissive open source licenses. If you author/contribute to open source code, it's worth reading and understanding these nuances! shazow.net/posts/permis...

Anyone out there with a YT channel with over 100K subscribers in a tech niche? I'm working on the @microconf.com YouTube strategy (www.youtube.com/@microconf) and would love to have someone to run quick questions on strategy by. Consultant recommendations welcome too!

@snook.ca Totally agree re: your "comments were a mistake" post, I've been thinking about this a lot lately. They really contributes to the community divide we have now, and has made divisive opinions seem more "the norm" and thus attracting followers rather than staying isolated.

We’re kicking off #MicroConf New Orleans with Dr. Sherry Walling as she dives into the psychological journey of entrepreneurship. She’ll share actionable strategies to build resilience, manage stress, and protect your well-being as a founder. 🧘‍♀️

Feels like the conference world has been upended in the last few years. Which conferences do you go to and why? (Bonus if they're marketing or SaaS focused.) And if you used to go to conferences and don't anymore, would love to know why as well!

Our SaaS Accelerator is taking applications! We work with generally non-VC track founders who are building innovative B2B applications that could grow 10x faster with a bit of funding, mentorship, and community. Help me share the word. 👇👇👇

Does anyone else have a "junk drawer" folder on their computer desktop to hold files that you know you only need once? Makes it so much easier to find recent files and also to keep things neat by wiping it out every now and then.

So many folks responding that it's your "Downloads" folder. IMHO, I like having both — delete is only for things I am SURE I'll never need again, so literally no anxiety deleting the whole thing every now and then (and mmm the dopamine from deleting is delicious.)

Woohoo @leenyburger.bsky.social! You have been on a JOURNEY. Excited for folks to hear your story. 💪

If you like narrative podcasts that follow startup founders (true crime for startups?) — we'll be releasing our next season of TinySeed Tales starting Thursday. Follow along at @tinyseed.com 👇

TinySeed@tinyseed.com

Eager for a new season of TinySeed Tales? If it's new to you, it's our special series on the Startups for the Rest of Us podcast, diving into the stories of TinySeed founders as they grow their business over their accelerator year and beyond. Get ready for new episodes to start this Thursday. 👀

In the @tinyseed.com accelerator, we work with early-ish stage startups and have seen the unique challenges that arise when folks hit $1M ARR+. Typical B2B SaaS advice is generally aimed at early stage. Advanced help is way harder to find. It's also a lonely spot to be in as a founder.

So if you already know the basics, what's happening and how do you fix it? How do you cut through all the noise and grow your startup from just hitting 7 figures to 8 figures and beyond? That's why we're building saasinstitute.com. If you know of founders who would benefit, send them my way.

saasinstitute.comElite B2B SaaS Founder Coaching — TinySeedThe TinySeed SaaS Institute is a private coaching community designed for $1M+ ARR B2B SaaS founders.
