As an autistic guy, I hate conventions because crowds and constant loud noises overstimulate me. That said, I ultimately had a blast at NYCC, getting to meet friends and fans, making deals, and making new friends. I'll be back next year for sure.

Finally meeting @drhastings.bsky.social in person and sharing a meal has been a highlight of this week. Gwenpool will always have a special place in my heart.

Absolutely incredible to finally meet @kyledhiggins.bsky.social in person. One of my favorite comic writers of all time, a great dude all around, and he gladly autographed my Radiant Black #1 as well as #42, which I wrote a backup for.

My biggest disappointment with New York Comic-Con is that Mamdani hasn't shown up.

As a board game fanatic, it's been great getting to hang out with Alex from BoardGameCo.

Found out the owner of my local corner store drives a Cybertruck. 😭 Going to have to boycott now even though we had a good rapport and he would stock peach Monsters specifically for me.

This shouldn't be necessary, but Marvel and DC historically haven't taken care of the people that made their IPs so valuable. It's a modest GoFundMe. Will you match my donation?
