Intersex and trans communities have a lot to learn from one another, but solidarity starts with educating ourselves. Understanding how our experiences overlap and differ is an important first step to showing up for each other as communities.

Meet @lewispants.bsky.social, author of the latest TransLash Wire piece! They returned to their hometown of Ann Arbor to talk with students and trans advocates after the Trump administration threatened the school district for upholding trans-affirming policies.

In my latest @ms.now piece,I write about what concerns me as we approach Election Day.”As a Black transgender woman who has spent years investigating America’s anti-trans movement,I am alarmed. Because escalating rhetoric is almost always followed by real world action.” www.ms.now/opinion/trum...

ms.nowOpinion | The Trump administrations’s use of an anti-trans slur is more than just rhetoricHistory has shown us that authoritarian leaders facing political trouble don't moderate their attacks on marginalized communities. They double down.

Today is International Pronouns Day! 🏳️‍⚧️ Using someone’s correct pronouns is one way we show respect for who they are. You don’t have to fully understand someone’s identity to respect it. If you’re unsure of someone’s pronouns, just ask!

If you make a mistake; apologize, correct yourself, and keep the conversation moving. Everyone deserves to be respected, affirmed, and recognized. 🎨 @courtneyahndesign on Instagram

Voters in five states will weigh in on ballot measures about trans rights this November: school sports, gender-affirming care for youth, LGBTQ+ curricula, and student privacy. Here's what's on the ballot in each state and what it could mean for the people they affect.

The school board bent. The Trump administration came back anyway. When the Trump administration jeopardized their federal funding, Ann Arbor Public Schools compromised on protecting trans students' privacy. Then, the DOJ threatened litigation.

Latine/Latinx Heritage Month is a time to recognize the trans and GNC voices that make up this community—from the histories too often forgotten to the organizations on the ground today. We're honoring those that helped shape this special month by sharing our new expansive guide! 🔗 bit.ly/47Tyz3a

We honor the legacy of Miss Major Griffin-Gracy, a fierce protector of our collective freedom. Our hearts are with her loved ones and all who carry her vision forward. "We will honor Miss Major forever." - @imarajones.bsky.social

On this Indigenous Peoples' Day, we honor and uplift our Indigenous Two-Spirit and LGBTQ+ family! Across generations, Indigenous Two-Spirit, trans, and GNC folks have carried legacies of strength, resilience, and sacred tradition. @dineaesthetics.bsky.social captures this best: "We are remarkable."

Coming out is a deeply personal journey—and there's no single right way to navigate it. How or when you come out, how you feel about it, does not define you. You are valid, you are loved, and you deserve to live authentically as your true self...wherever you are in your coming out journey. ❤️

Latine/Latinx Heritage Month is a celebration of shared culture, history, and voices. As we share the words of some of these trailblazers, we recognize some common threads: unwavering resilience, joyful self-discovery, and the undeniable commitment to our shared future.

Join us as we revisit an episode of TLP for Latine/Latinx Heritage Month! Jennicet Gutiérrez, National Organizer at Familia: TQLM and Joela Rivera, Co-Founder of Stonewall Protests sat with @imarajones.bsky.social to discuss the importance of Latine/Latinx voices in the fight for transgender rights.

📣 TLP is back on YouTube! 📣 @imarajones.bsky.social is joined by two trans women running for seats in their state's House of Representatives. In an interesting twist, not only are they both working towards the same goal, they also both have backgrounds as spiritual leaders!
