I’m an immigrant currently living in Portugal. The thing I love most about this wonderful country is how I have been received here. My Portuguese language skills are minuscule and I am obviously a foreigner. But all I have seen is kindness and welcoming. I’m seen as a person. It’s so refreshing.

My wife is German, she grew up in Munich after the war. She just said the most amazing thing. I was trying to understand why Trump is doing what he’s doing. She said she thinks he is doing Hitler’s final solution passively. Instead of the ovens take away medicine or info about disease. Not crazy.

Our military is soon to be led by a Commander in Chief who would be unable to serve in the military because he’s a convicted felon. We are truly living in the upside down.
