It was an awesome camping trip in BC this past week.

Tried to reach the Skook Lookout today on Skookumchuck Mountain. It’s 20+km up a forestry service road. Didn’t make it. Road became too narrow for our truck. But, I was able to get up close & personal with some larch trees. They’re deciduous conifers. 🥰

I did a thing this morning.

Sitting at Canmore Nordic Centre waiting for friends. Going to have a bbq, do some paddling and maybe mountain biking. It’s a bit smoky.

Things seen on my gravel ride today. And yay me for keeping it in zone 2. My coach will be so happy.

BMX looked like fun so I went to Cochrane BMX Try It Day in May 23rd. So. Much.Fun! The BMX community are incredibly welcoming and supportive of all ages. I be back! My legs were cooked as I had just finished a 2 road ride before this.

Guess I should be thankful it’s only raining in the Calgary area.

Was able to get outside for a run today. Two Sundays in a row! Started off as a nice morning but a storm is brewing and some chilly weather is moving in for the coming week.

Got out for a bit of walk today. The husband can’t ride or ski or snowboard until his rotator cuff is fixed. So walking it is. Went to Elbow Falls. It’s a pretty little spot.

Seen on today’s hamster wheel run….my car! He’s back from the car hospital with new bits! And yes, that’s my running jacket hanging on my hamster wheel. It’s chilly today.
