I recently purchased Deckers for my solo adventures. It's interesting but frustrating. I've played 5 times but I've always forgotten some important rule. There's something there but so easy to forget steps. As I play more I hope I might be able to play it correctly 🤞 #boardgames #soloboardgames

It seems @buttonshy.bsky.social know the way to my solo playing heart. The Daily Weather is 4-5 minute simple yet satisfying puzzle. It changes every day, will take years to repeat itself and it does it with only 18 cards. It's the perfect morning coffee material. #boardgames #soloboardgames

April plays. Crisps! was dethroned after sitting firmly at the top each month, for the first quarter of the year. I had expected Conservas to be at the top but Got Five! came out of the blue and took the spot. #boardgames

I recently picked up Conservas by @scottalmes.bsky.social and @saltandpeppergames.bsky.social while searching for a new solo game. I've only played a few games so far but it's so addicting! It has everything I want in a solo experience: Short, simple & easy setup. #boardgamed #soloboardgames

Cards rule everything around me February plays. Lots of card games. Crisps! by @shreesh.bsky.social (and @dnlnwmn.bsky.social) reigns supreme and keeps its 1st place spot from January. #boardgames #bgstats

I can recommend. Easily game of the year for me and it's only February. Small box you can take anywhere. Perfect play time for game weight and player count. Has become the 'night cap' for me and my daughter (one game of Crisps! before she goes to sleep... if it's not too late)

January plays. I finally got Crisps (and Dickory along with a few other games I purchased) from @dnlnwmn.bsky.social and I immediately know Crisps is going to be a top list game for 2026. Can't get enough. #bgstats #boardgames

I have been listening to "1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die". Sometimes while soloing a boardgame. What I can tell you is that even if I don't like Arkham Horror the boardgame, I like it even less with The Visitors by ABBA as a soundtrack. #boardgames #soloboardgames

Solo played Until Proven Guilty from DV Games. I don't recommend the game for its price even if the production is great. Weirdly the components are of too high quality for a one off play. I think they could have done something like Final Girl (core box + cases). #boardgames #soloboardgames

Everything is relative. I guess most people think they'd have played a lot if they managed 70 plays in a year. To me, playing only 70 times in a month is on the lower side (I was traveling which explains it) #boardgames #bgstats

I have played many games of Forest Shuffle from @lookoutgames.bsky.social and even more after getting the Exploration expansion. On the fifth try at the Insects challenge, never having gotten 10 insects, I finally noticed that butterflies are insects too! Game changer! #boardgames #soloboardgames

I don't care if the buildings are not sturdy in Rolling Heights from @alderaceg.bsky.social This game just looks so good and the meeple throwing mechanic is so much fun. Solo opponent is simple to operate but I would have wanted cards instead of dice + a round tracker. #boardgames #soloboardgames

A new pope was elected in May. Around that time I played Avignon: A Clash of Popes with different people. I also did two #threespan plays in May 🐠🐦🐉 A slump in plays in the middle of May but started to pick up again toward the end. #boardgames #bgstats

I put on a french family movie for a sudden movie night, knowing nothing about it: Family Pack (Loups-Garous) Turns out it was Werewolves of Miller's Hollow the movie. It's an ok family flick, but it is the best movie based on real #boardgames I think I've seen 😉
