Re those influencers attempting to make contact with indigenous people, a story highlighted in today’s Guardian, are either bored or stupid or probably both. I suspect the lot of them don’t know the first thing about primitive cultures.

Javier Milai is a thug, just like all the other far right despots across the globe. His charge that US Democrats, Brazil and Mexico conspired against Argentina in the World Cup is not only laughable, but a sign his brain is being eaten by worms.

wake up people. the vp of the us is in hungary, an autocratic/fascist state, spending your tax dollars to drum up support for orban, the worst of the worst, someone as bad as vlad himself.

when it comes to military incursions in other countries, don’t believe a word the idiot in chief trump says. he is lying, just like johnson and nixon lied about vietnam, just like bush lied about iraq.

A main character in Sinclair Lewis’s 1935 book “It Can’t Happen Here” comes to the realization it was people like him with "timid souls and drowsy minds” that paved the way for a fascist to become President. Let not your soul be timid or your mind drowsy the next time fascism is on the ballot.

The “mainstream” media is really stupid. Instead of printing headlines like below, they should say this: “Trump doesn’t know what he is doing”. They just continue to feed into his shtick. It is exactly the headline he wants and they shouldn’t give to him.

Grand total output yesterday: one paragraph. But here’s the thing. I rewrote it ten times. I’m obsessed with words, sentence flow, its rhythm. Vacuous instead of empty, lifeless instead of dead. Don’t give up your day job, drifts a plea from the other room into mine. This is my day job, I reply.

Name a couple of types of readers out there. Here are a few to get started: "the curious" type, the “entertainment me” type, the "take me someplace I've never been” type. Others?

This is a general post for anyone to respond to. When you sit down and start writing a novel, does the type of reader it would appeal to enter into your thought process, or do you just let the words fly?

You are up to date.
