Still a few days away from Phantom Blade Zero...so I decided why not just replay The Witcher 3? Decided to change over to a more flexible build that uses everything (bomb damage sure does suck now) and it's been a lot of fun using the whole kit again. Euphoria remains OP.

Opted to go for Blood & Wine first, need those sweet, sweet mutations and grandmaster armor first. Toussaint remains beautiful and a great contrast to the Northern Realms.

Bummed about Bioware shutting down. They released a lot of my favorite games growing up and the time I spent as Commander Shepard is always time I value.

I forgot how long a Witcher 3 play through really is. 76 hours and I finally got to Ugly Baby. Haven't touched the DLCs yet save for the Runewright. Yes, I'm hitting all the '?'. No, I I'm not doing all of the Skellige ones.

Credits rolled on Gears of War: E-Day. I'll give it a 7/10. It was a Gears game, but I guess the story beats weren't there for me. I guess it needed more moments of levity, if which there was only a little. At least we had a Carmine.

Back on The Path and started another Witcher 3 playthrough because of the remaster and what can you really say? Immaculate storytelling. I went with a Sign build this time opposed to Alchemy and it is laughably powerful.

It's never really a CDPR game without bugs. Hoping they fix everything. Been replaying Witcher 3 slowly to kill time until Phantom Blade Zero.

Credits rolled on Anime Top Gun (Ace Combat 8) and I loved every minute of it. There's always a part of every little kid who gets amazed and fascinated by jets. I always knew about Ace Combat, but never played any of the games, so I'm happy to be richer for the experience. #dangerzone

Finished Echoes of Sekigahara for Ghost of Yotei and I really enjoyed it. Lots of great additions to the story and some badass armors. I can also definitely see myself investing lots of time into Most Wanted. Also ended up getting Ace Combat 8 and have been a surprising amount of fun with it.

One of the dumbest things I've experienced in a job that requires phone calls is the amount of AI "receptionists". Recently, it's become more disturbing because you can hear "typing" going on in the background like it's supposed to convince me there's work going on.

Finished a quick run of Ghost of Yotei again to get familiar with in preparation to the expansion. I still prefer Tsushima for a lot of things, personally, but the art direction for Yotei is so much more visually appealing.

Continuing on with the current samurai obsession, I've finally started reading Musashi and it's been a while since I've actually wanted to read for an extended period of time.

Finally getting around to watching The Mandalorian and Grogu. Aka the Super Series Finale of The Mandalorian. Nice that they top billed the physical actors for the character.

Made it to the final boss in Onimusha. Gonna tackle it tomorrow evening. The bosses haven't given as much trouble compared to Black Myth: Wukong, but having a true parry helps a lot. I'm more cold on Wolverine after the reviews, so it might be a good time to go back to The Zone after.

Yeesh. The Wolverine reviews are highly varied. Maybe I might wait on this one and save some money. Might use the downtime to replay Onimusha after finishing it.

With any luck, I'll finish Onimusha in the next few days and then roll right into Wolverine and that should carry into The Witcher 3 update and/or Ace Combat 8 and then that goes into Phantom Blade: Zero and then, maybe, GTA6. Hoping 2027 will have some good games to look forward to.

Credits rolled for Star Wars: Zero Company. I would go so far to call it an instant classic. I absolutely adored it. It would be criminal to not see more.

I cannot understate how much enjoyment that has been derived from Star Wars: Zero Company. I am tremendously saddened by the furloughs pre-launch, but BitReactor made something that respects Star Wars and the turn-based strategy genre. Easily my GOTY so far.

Game releases in the next few months are exciting. Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2, Star Wars: Zero Company, Wolverine, Onimusha, Phantom Blade: Zero, STALKER 2 expansion, Ace Combat 8, and GTA6 (though this feels like a maybe). Oh, and the MGS Master Collection Vol 2. My savings.

Decided to replay Midnight Fight Express and if you've never heard of it, it's one of the best indie beat 'em ups ever with an insane soundtrack. 10/10.

Credits rolled on Shinobi: Art of Vengeance. One of the best action games I've played in a long time. The hardest part was a platforming puzzle at the end that is optional content.

The final update for Destiny 2 was today. I stopped playing at the end of The Final Shape, but I can't deny there's a somberness I'm feeling knowing the game is "over/done" after spending nearly 10 years (5,746 hours total) playing it. Lots of memories, inside jokes/laughs, and even real friends.

Credits rolled on 007 First Light and it was a delight. Felt and paced exactly like a Bond story with all the wit and manner I would have come to expect. But it makes me want a Bourne game by IO Interactive now.
