Finished novel number five! Like the others, I stuck to a consistent writing schedule of at least 800 words a day with no days off. I'm ready for the break that it is editing and spending more time on my beta partners' work too!

I've very much enjoyed our #CRPSirens #CampRevPit experience, due in large part to the leadership from @nadineflintbooks.bsky.social! I kept up w/800 words/day goal in WIP and didn't let querying other books get me down. So glad to have made some new connections and learn about all your cool books!

Realizing I don't have a ton on my Id List. I love lots of tropes, depending on execution, but don't have consistent favorites. Two things I do especially like: Settings, jobs, and hobbies that read as *authentic* Genuinely nice people #CampRevPit #CRPSirens

Love this question! My #CampRevPit novel MC isn't reflective enough about her own needs and desires--instead, she's just following what she thinks her grandfather wanted her to do (be a doctor). But she hates blood, and instead, loves to build things and solve puzzles. #CRPSirens

My writing goals post #RevPit are to finish my cozy sports romance by June, then edit, beta, and query. Trying to determine now what I will write afterward. Have three options, but none are rising to the top atm. #RevPitWaiting

Started out complete Plotter for books 1-3, then book 4, started doing detailed character backstory first, which supported a bit more Plantsing. Continued that w/book 5. I'd now put myself at 5.5 if 1=Pantser and 10=Plotter, but long-time CP and hard-core Pantser says I'm a 7. #RevPitWaiting

Meet Mochi. I shared her pic in my intro, but here's a gif of her puppy self run-hopping as Havanese do. She definitely lives up to the "Velcro dog" reputation of the breed. This is an easy one for me. I first read Anne of Green Gables when I was ten or so. I've read all eight books about every eight-ten years since. I even saw the play in PEI! I'm sure my steeping in all things Anne has influenced my speech and writing (and thinking). #RevPit #RevPitWaiting

I write 800 words/day. Takes me about 3.5 months to write one book that way (with a few weeks between for editing and beta feedback). Image is three full books over about the last year, major edits for another, and the start of my new one. My #RevPit book is the last one completed on chart.

Plot? I think? For Anti-Charter Campaign (my #RevPit entry), I had an idea for a D&D game that seeps into real life--not w/ real monsters, but what the monster represents Evolved into story about teachers fighting monsters in the game & metaphorical monsters IRL (this became a corporate charter)

Submitted to #RevPit for the 2nd time! Loved it so much last year, I had to come back. Trying this time with my contemporary X speculative X cozy fantasy...so much genre blending. Hoping the editors like the above &/or a focus on teachers, super close friend groups, defeating evil corporations...

My first piece of short-form creative writing is published! Loved being able to revisit a little moment of my life in the five minutes, 100 words format.
