I absolutely love cosplaying Sora ✨ wearing Sora in Disneyland? Even better 😁 Is there a cosplay that brings you joy to wear/embody? #cosplay #sora #kingdomhearts #kh2 #disneyland

I’ve come full circle with Gwent. When I first picked up #Witcher3 I didn’t even try it. On my current (4th) playthrough it’s basically all I do. Gwent Master achievement got 😤 My technique is 100% front load with spy cards then play a bitter frost card to stack my deck early.

When you get off the ride and Sora’s in your souvenir ride photo. #kingdomhearts #disneyland

Being a Kingdom Hearts cosplayer with their full KH cosplay in tow at Disneyland on Halloween can only mean one thing…

17 Sept

One of my earlier gender-affirming memories was trying out for a character named “Steve” in our elementary school play. Another boy tried out for the role, so assumed he would be given the role and I’d be directed to a female character (there were SO MANY roles in this play).…

17 Sept

To my surprise, because I performed the role better, I was given the role. And it wasn’t changed. I was cast as Steve, and the character remained a boy in the play. It felt so affirming. I want judged.

The teachers didn’t share any surprise or questions. I was just allowed to be me. This is what affirming gender looks like.

Remember to vote. Just voted in a by-election in my district, took us less than 2 minutes. If you are in the US check your voter registration NOW to ensure that’s sorted before the midterms. It’s never been more important to get to the polls.

KH2 Sora shoe fix-up Before- Notice the toe of the shoe is flat on the ground and the toe is skinner rather than rounded After- Carved into the front-toe to lift it off the ground, rounded the toe by installing a new foam under-base!

Hear me out: sitcom opening for a new series, ‘Two Broke Keyblade Wielders’ But who’s the other wielder? Strelitzia? Riku? 🤔 #KingdomHearts4 #kingdomhearts

Some more Majora's Mask redesigns! These characters didn't fit the premise of the project, but I still wanted to take a stab at them :) Adult Kafei, the Giants, and a Mysterious Man...

Accountability post for donations for the Camapign for Southern Equality made at Metrocon!! Folks who came to my table generously donated $305 via online donation and $240 by cash! This is the cash donation receipt! Thank you so much to everyone who donated for helping me raise $545 overall!!!

Good morning, I’m exhausted but back in life/work mode And I kinda want to re-play FFX? What’s that all about? #ftm #trans #transgender

I feel like a significant amount of work in public health rn is just trying to clean up after the problem “wellness influencers” keep causing. Anyway, expertise matters and science is real

My stomach hurts SO MUCH and I blame it all on the distinctly off sandwich I had in Charlotte but we made it back home!!! 😪

The redeeming feature of the Charlotte Airport was the piano guy rippin’ out classic Final Fantasy and Zelda tunes for no reason. Sir you are vital to this ecosystem 🫡

Suppperrrrr late posting this but I’m Kai today for the last day of #metrocon ! I can’t believe we’re at the end of the weekend already 😭 Come Beyblade battle meeeeee 💥 #cosplay #kai #beyblade #nostalgia

Done for the day! Thank you SO MUCH for everyone who came by my table and to my panels!! I am also so sorry if I missed anyone! I will be at my table 1pm-3pm tomorrow and hope to have a chance to meet folks I haven’t been able to yet 🩵

Also, change of plans! I’ll be Sora again today. I just wasn’t feeling confident without my new Vash wig. Sorry if anyone is disappointed!!

I’ll be at my table at #metrocon today from 11-2 , would love to chat with folks who may be around this morning! This afternoon I’ll be running my two panels! Coming out in Cosplay at 3pm and a Wig Panel at 5pm!

Absolutely furious at myself for bringing the wrong wig for Vash 😔

31 July

May your heart be your guiding key ✨… TO DAY 1 OF #metrocon !!!! I’m so excited to start this weekend off, Florida 👏🏻 I’ll be judging the performance competition in the morning and at my booth in the afternoon! If you see me please don’t hesitate to say hi!!! #cosplay #sora #kingdomhearts

31 July

I can’t believe I left almost all of my underwear at Disney World…

30 July

When I came out my mom didn’t know anyone else with a trans kid. Just a few years ago she met another neighborhood mom whose kid had come out as trans and she said “and I just hugged her, I thought I was the only one”.

30 July

Now I hear she is talking to a high school friend of her’s whose kid just came out as well. I’ve seen her confidence shoot up and she’s now helping others! It’s so important families don’t feel alone, as much as trans kids shouldn’t either.

29 July

Made something because I’ve been thinking about this a lot, TLDR: life’s short, please live your life and allow others to do the same. #cosplay#fandom #cringe

28 July

First time ever in #disneyworld ! Another adventure with the love of my life @jennaoliverva who could ask for more? 🥰 Also great place to get into character for Sora this weekend at #Metrocon , nothing like Disney to get the Kingdom Hearts juices flowing 🏰 #couple #queer #trans

27 July

Anyway Disney pin Sora wishes you all good night filled with no sleep paralysis demon looming over you like this:

27 July

Bet I saw Kingdom Hearts merch and purchased it immediately. I mean Sora’s face is crazy in this but KH fans are just so starved for rep at Disney parks I buy anyway 🥲

26 July

I’m watching the He-Man movie and I stg I feel like I’m having a stroke every time Skeletor speaks— I cannot make out anything through Jared Leto’s bizarre affectation. Like at one point I thought I changed the language setting and he was speaking French??

24 July

METROCON is just one week away! I can’t fully express how excited I am to be attending @metrocon_fl — it’s been a bucket list con for possibly decades (I’m old!) I’ve got my cosplays done enough that I feel I can announce my cosplay schedule. The theme is “nostalgia and red” 😆

24 July

I’ll be running a few panels and would love if folks dropped by to learn about wigs and to talk about LGBTQ2S+ identity and intersections with cosplay 🩵

24 July

Finally, between everything I’ll be at my booth when possible! As per always I’ll be doing a charity print drive, so prints on my table are all by donation with all proceeds going to the Campaign for Southern Equality. Help me raise money for a good cause! See you soon Florida pals!! ✨ #metrocon

One minute you can be brooding about how sexy you are and the next minute you are causing major structural damage with your spinning top 🤷‍♂️ That’s the Beyblade life. Photo by @mosoul_photo #cosplay #beyblade #kaihiwatari #animeexpo

METROCON is just around the corner and I’m happy to announce that, as per usual, I’ll be doing a charity print drive, so prints on my table are all by donation with all proceeds going to the Campaign for Southern Equality. Help me raise money for a good cause! #metrocon

13 July

“You said we’d meet again, but when we did, we might not recognize each other.” (Listen… I was a fan a Roxas back when he was Blonde-Haired Kid (BHK) and we were on Internet forums throwing out hair-brained theories) Photo by @mosoul_photo ! #cosplay #roxas #kingdomhearts #squareenix

9 times out of 10 the thought in my mind when I look at old photos is “where the fuck did that sweater go?!?”
