34 years ago when Hussein sent scuds to Israel, family in the US had to wait hours, days for news of our loved ones. Now we can stay on the phone with them while they sit in their bomb shelters. Gives me comfort, if not them.

Listen, I’m retiring from public school teaching, am really, really over fifth grade behavior, and it is crazy that, although I won’t be seeing it at school, I now have to see the Trump/Musk playground taunting. Really?

Well, thank God. Dr Oz will be handling Medicare and Medicaid from now on. Excellent news if you enjoy colon cleanses and getting your vegetables in pill form. Plus he has just a ton of administrative experience, in his mind.

Everyone needs to calm down. Stop focusing on the stock market, prices, and layoffs. Focus on how well it’s all going! It’s fine! Oh, and sign up for that lobotomy.

I am hoping pur Dear Leader will teach us the meaning of other words as he moves through his presidency. I’m starting a list of words I’d like to learn: bike. Fire. Window. Flower. Treason.

I think one of the most powerful, fierce things Trump has done for America today (just today! Imagine what may happen tomorrow!) is to impose tariffs on uninhabited islands with no economies. Halleluyah! We are GREAT!

We live in amazing and lucky times. And our dear leader is just so great. Today, for example, he explained to us what groceries are. Things in bags. I cannot express how this has enlightened my existence. Wow. Just wow.

and on the eve of Purim - a holiday where we celebrate a Jewish Queen tricking a genocidal king and taking him down and saving her people I and quite litterally every Jewish person around the world is reading/celebrating remembering Queen esther and survival. May it be some force of something.
