We haven’t even reached the bargaining table and change is already underway ✊ This is only the beginning. Stay connected, stay informed, and keep pushing for what matters most: a workplace that supports the people who care for our patients 💙

We were proud to sponsor the 2nd annual UC Latino Physician Consortium, bringing physicians, medical students, residents, fellows, and alumni together to advance Latino health and healthcare access. It was also great connecting with Governor Candidate Xavier Becerra ✊

We’re proud to endorse Adam Bojak for New York State Assembly ✊ The health of our communities depends on expanding access to high quality healthcare and on ensuring the healthcare providers who care for our communities have the resources and support they need.

Going on strike was not a decision our providers made lightly. After months of negotiations, LifeLong providers are taking collective action to address concerns about workload, staffing, and patient care. 💙 #PatientCare #CommunityHealth

160+ LifeLong doctors, NPs, PAs & providers strike Monday, Sept 28 📣 After months of stalling at the table, we're fighting for safe staffing and workload protections so East Bay patients get the care they deserve. Rally with us at William Jenkins Health Center, 11am–1pm 💙

Yesterday, LifeLong providers and allies picketed at six East Bay health centers to make their voices heard. 💙 Patients deserve quality care, and providers deserve the conditions to deliver it. A strike authorization vote is underway. 👀 Stay tuned for updates. 📣

For months, LifeLong providers have brought proposals to the bargaining table to address working conditions—including patient panel transparency, safe staffing and protecting professional judgment. Because when providers have the support to care for patients, the whole East Bay benefits ✊

We enjoyed hosting Sara Hernandez, Esq., candidate for California State Senate in Los Angeles, this weekend! Meeting with policymakers is vital to advocating for our profession and our patients. Thank you to all who joined a conversation on access to care and the physician workforce ✊

This Labor Day, we celebrate the people who keep our communities moving and the power we have when we stand together ✊ Workers don’t have to accept the status quo. When we organize, speak up, and stand together, our individual concerns become collective power 📣

More than 240 physicians and APPs have voted YES to form the first ever union at Banner ✊ We are proud to stand by our primary care clinicians as they reclaim their voice in the workplace. Next stop: the bargaining table—where we will fight for a contract that puts patients and clinicians first.

UC attending physicians should have a voice in decisions impacting patient care. As physicians across the UC health system organize, we’re building a collective voice to advocate for our patients, our profession, and the care we provide. Join our town hall Monday, Aug. 24 at 7 PM to learn more!

This election is advocacy for our clinicians, our patients, and our patients. It's not about being against Banner. It's about primary care where clinicians can show up for patients without sacrificing their well-being, and speak up without fear of retaliation. #unionyes

Every clinician remembers why they chose primary care. For Dr. Elizalde, it was connecting with patients through their hardest and healthiest moments. Now that's slipping away, buried in inboxes, shrinking time, decisions made without them. Ballots due soon. #unionyes

Burnout shouldn't be part of the job. It's what happens when you lose control over the work you love. Across Banner, clinicians are standing up to reclaim their professional autonomy -- for their patients and their well-being. Ballots are due back this week! Don't let your vote go uncounted. 📣

Banner tried to silence Dr. Lea for speaking up and she fought back 💪 To her patients: Thank you for your concern for Dr. Lea over the past couple of months, she wants to thank all of you for your continued support and outreach. For an update on Dr. Lea's future endeavors please visit 🔗 azdo.gov

No physician wakes up & decides to unionize overnight. It comes after months of trying everything else first. As Dr. Justin Watkins shares, there were only 3 options left. Over 100 providers have chosen to stand together. Ballots are coming soon, review the instructions carefully to cast your vote 🗳️

Today's the day! The National Labor Relations Board is officially mailing out ballots to more than 200 physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants at Banner Health's primary care clinics to vote on whether to form a union 🗳️ #1u #unionelection

From clinics across the San Francisco Bay Area and Monterey, our pediatricians at Stanford came together to celebrate their recent union victory! We're one step closer to building a stronger workplace and strengthening their voice to advocate for patients to strengthen pediatric care ✊💙

Location update for tomorrow's press conference 📣 With the incredible community support we've seen, we're moving to a different space to better accommodate everyone. Tomorrow's event will be held at: 📍 Logan Health Glacier Conference Center, 1375 US Highway 93, Kalispell, MT 59901

With 30+ years working non-union and union roles in healthcare, Traci knows what's on the line. Perspective over the years means knowing what works, recognizing what needs to change, and understanding that the best decisions are made when the people closest to patient care have a voice.

Nearly 2,000 patients in Kalispell, MT, and neighboring communities could lose access to their primary care provider this October if we don't act now. 🗓️ Tuesday, July 7 🕡 6:30 PM 📍 Main entrance @ Logan Health Medical Center, 310 Sunnyview Ln, Kalispell, MT, 59901 #patientsfirst #patientsafety

Hilary knows that voting #unionyes won't fix everything overnight. But it'll get the conversation moving in the right direction. APPs at Fred Hutch have the chance to vote for a future where their voices will help shape the work they do every day. Vote #unionyes for the career you want to build. 🗳️

For Rachel, voting #unionyes is protecting the values that brought so many clinicians here: compassionate care, groundbreaking innovation, and a voice for the ones who deliver that care every day. Preserving a legacy and forwarding the mission takes all of us.

After Angie lost her father to cancer, she made the decision to pursue a second career dedicated to caring for patients and their families facing the hardest moments of their lives. Voting #unionyes is about protecting the space to have difficult conversations with dignity, care, and humanity 💙

The moment we've been working toward is almost here ✊ In less than two weeks, clinicians at Fred Hutch will cast their votes for union representation and decide whether to come together with a collective voice for the patient care standards and working conditions that cancer patients depend on 🗳️

More than 240 physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants at Banner Health in Arizona have filed to unionize 📣 They're coming together to protect patient care and secure a voice in the decisions that affect their patients, their profession, and healthcare in the state. ✊

Today, we honor the fathers and father figures who care for their families with the same dedication they bring to their patients and communities every day. Your commitment makes a difference not only at home, but in the lives of the patients and their loved ones who count on your care 💙 #fathersday

This is a setback for training and public health in Western New York. Patients needing specialized care will face fewer local options, longer waits, and more travel. When training programs disappear, access and workforce capacity both suffer.

The Buffalo News@buffalonews.com

The University at Buffalo is closing its oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program at the end of this academic year, an abrupt decision that startled those in the industry across the country.

The results are in: pediatricians at Packard Children’s Health Alliance, affiliated with Stanford Medicine Children’s Health, have WON their union election 🎉✊ Every day, they care for children and families. Today, they stood together to strengthen the future of pediatric care.
