Fun fact about Lindsay Graham sanctions bill. Besides the name the point of the bill is to give trump power to sanction other countries. I predict that in the coming days trump will use this bill as a basis to sanction Ukraine.

This is the key point!

It's important to recognise is that this *isn't* about the US getting "back" to business with Russia, because there's never been much US-Russia business of any kind beyond arms control. What the Trump admin is pushing for is an unprecedented alignment of the US with Russia.

This is a deal between two men who are desperate to look like they have cards on their hands: 1. Putin had to lift an export ban after Ukrainian drone strikes to deliver a symbolic amount of diesel. 2. Trump pretends that it will make a difference for diesel prices in America.

The only “highly successful discussion” you need to announce after talking with Putin is about Russia ending the war. You know like you promised you would do in 24 hours dozens of times during the campaign.

I want us all to understand what exactly this means. This is is a free pass for russia to start the war with europe. Simple as that Putin acts on principle that Democracies are weak and will cave over time. So far he was proven right. This means war is coming for countries beyond Ukraine. Be Ready!

Absolute fucking insanity. Note that trump earlier signed a sanctions package that DIRECTLY prohibits striking deals with russia. But since when does the orange plague care about laws. US is a complete joke. I don't know if this is salvageable. www.cnbc.com/2026/10/09/t...

cnbc.comTrump strikes deal with Putin to supply Russian diesel to U.S. and global marketsPresident Donald Trump has few options to reduce diesel prices given the destruction done to refineries by the wars in Eastern Europe and the Middle East.

My biggest problem is not russia attacking civilians. They are inhuman monsters, we know that. My problem is with media, people and politicians here in europe that normalized this.

The Northern Bridge in Kyiv. Russians are deliberately targeting civilians infrastructure.

Oh it's just a never ending string of questions. If we say "never again war in europe" why do we allow it to happen in Ukraine? If "equal rule of law and taxes, why is it always the rich that get away with it?" If "democratic values drive us, why do we keep enriching all the words worst regimes?"

I think soon we will hear aboun another successful operation by secret service of Ukraine that Brovdi was taken out and then resurrected with Ukraine going up +20 million :D

MAKS 26 👀🇺🇦@maks23.bsky.social

☠️ Russians through post-Soviet criminal networks announced a reward of $20 million for information that will help find Robert "Magyar" Brovdi, - WSJ He believes that the enemy's attention to him is due to the heavy losses that AFU inflict on Russians.

Trump said Ukrainian strikes on Russian refineries are a “big problem” and that he told Zelenskyy to show more restraint. According to Trump, Zelenskyy said Ukraine “possibly” would. Trump added: “There are other things that he can do.” #Ukraine

I am truly astonished just how incredibly, utterly low the US has fallen. I grew up in post soviet eastern europe. A shithole as referred to by maga Americans. The notorious corruption haven. But even there never ever politicians would declare bribes from the podium. This is so beyond mental US

It was a crime the first time he made the offer, and it's still a crime tonight.

When we eastern europeans say that westerners have a stupid, wrong, delusional perception of russia this is what we mean. It misses the mark so much, but why listen to people next to russia when there is a local famous journalist. Putin is a direct product of what russia IS and ALWAYS WAS.

The West helped create Vladimir Putin. A senior Western diplomat warned in 1994 where capitalist 'shock therapy' would take Russia. They ignored him - and ended his diplomatic career.

Kinburn's geography makes it a tricky spot for Russia. Limited supply routes, proximity to Ukrainian-held territory, and constant observation from across the water pose significant challenges for troop resupply. #Ukraine #Russia

Ukrainian troops are using drones to disrupt Russian supply lines near Zalizny Port, laying mines and attacking vehicles. Russia's attempts to adapt by using detectors and hiding vehicles are met with changing Ukrainian tactics, creating a constant, evolving competition. #ukraine #drones #warfare

Ukraine's targeting of Russian forces is proving so effective that Russia is overstretching itself, facing troop shortages. This year has been a nightmare for them, with Kinburn serving as a prime example. Expect more abandoned positions and Ukrainian counter-attacks. #Ukraine #Russia

The manpower problem in Ukraine presents a dangerous silence. If Ukrainian drone crews can keep ~2,500 Russian troops tied to Kinburn, an assault might not be necessary. Those troops still require supplies, and Russia must protect those routes, creating opportunities for Ukraine to inflict damage.

Ukrainian defense systems have cleverly forced Russia to divert troops to simply hold existing positions. This strategic constraint has narrowed Russia's offensive directions from 7-9 in 2025 to about 3-4 today. #Ukraine #defense

Russian forces have withdrawn from key positions on Kinburn Spit without a major Ukrainian assault. Sustained pressure on supply routes and logistics made occupation increasingly difficult and expensive, disrupting reinforcements and destroying local artillery. #Ukraine #Russia #War

A Ukrainian unit reportedly killed Russian commander Grunis in a night strike on occupied Donetsk on Sept 12th. Reuters couldn't verify, but a Russian commander confirmed Grunis' death. Grunis recently received the Hero of Russia award for a town Russia hasn't actually captured.

Ukraine's 'Logistics Lockdown' program aims to disrupt Russian supply lines between 30-200 km from the front. With increased funding and strikes on infrastructure like bridges and depots, the goal is to make it harder for Russia to support its frontline units.

Poland's response to potential Russian aggression isn't intimidation; it's increased support for Ukraine. Reports suggest Warsaw is preparing its largest aid package yet, showing a clear understanding of the threat. #geopolitics #ukraine

Ukraine's strikes are targeting not just drone storage and prep sites, but also the logistics and power supply. Fuel deliveries are crucial for generators that charge batteries, run computers, and operate EW systems. Disrupting fuel means disrupting entire Russian defensive operations. #ukraine

Ukraine's strikes on Russian oil depots were expected to impact high-octane fuel production due to reliance on Western tech. However, Russia can still produce low-grade diesel using older Soviet facilities, suggesting diesel might not be the major problem it was initially thought to be. #geopolitics

A top Putin advisor just threatened Poland, claiming it could cease to exist in days. This escalates after Poland's Foreign Minister noted Russia would likely be defeated quickly in a conventional war with NATO. #geopolitics #russia #poland
