Rowling *never* writes about women’s rights, workplace discrimination or the threats to women from predatory men. I tracked her posts for five months: Well over 200 hateful transphobic smears. Not a single post about women’s actual concerns or needs None

This is ragebait so not directly quoting it, but the question misses the point: studying those topics trains you to THINK, which ia something EVERYONE needs to know regardless if you use those specific skills.

If you have a Gmail account, you need to read this. Google's AI now scans your emails and attachments, bank statements, tax files, medical letters, all of it. It turned on by default, and there's a class-action lawsuit over how. Here are 5 moves to shut it off, the switch is hidden in two places:

Over the last week there has been a tireless effort to tackle the ongoing wildfire in the Cairngorms National Park. While encouraging progress had been made thanks to immense support, unfortunately the fire threat has been growing at RSPB Abernethy following a change in weather conditions.

it doesn't take too long to get invested in all the stories fractions and their conflicts with each other. I think that is Jennings strength by giving all the characters their own distinct voice and makes it therefore easy to follow along. There are a lot of twists and chapter-cliffhangers,

maybe a bit too many to enjoy them thoroughly. It certainly gets you flying through the chapters and in the end, all the twists make sense. I really liked the somewhat bittersweet ending that gives a hopeful feeling for the Highglade and its surroundings

Where "The Gift of the Shaper" was building a world with different races of beings and introducing the main characters, and "Awaken the three" pushes you into the wider world and conflicts through many different POV's, this book binds it all together.

Jennings has created so many different races, creatures, gods and villains and he did it with a lot of soul and heart poured into them. Although you get tossed around lots of different perspectives and different locations with very short chapters,

Her trenger man ikke altfor mye visuell fantasi

June reads 8/10 💙📚 #booksky N.K. Jemisin - The fifth season ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing I've seen this book all over and it gets recommended a lot for being different and edgy. And it certainly does not disappoint.

All three women have their story to tell, and those stories are riddled with horrors, violence and abuse. And those three women are connected deeper than you think. While the storyline is exciting, the magic system very elegant and unique,

it is the slowly creeping character building that got me hooked. Jemisin writes so mysteriously without you noticing and it keeps you wanting just one more chapter all the time. Absolutely recommended

The fifth season is a fantasy sci-fi mix with a very unique world building. This somewhat dystopian world is struck by natural disaster a lot, be it volcanoes, tsunamies, earthquakes - the earth is angry and can only be managed by certain humans, Orogenes,

who have the ability to sooth and prevent those disasters. The Orogenes also have the ability to kill or harm other humans and are therefore forbidden, hunted or shunned when not completely controlled by Guardians. We follow three women. Essun, a mother with orogene abilities
