Climate demonstration in Stockholm on the 23rd of August with at least 50 000 participants. Today demonstration in Gothenburg with 12 000 participants or more. The aim is to put the climate change on the agenda for the national election on the 13th of September. www.facebook.com/610739005/po...

Swedish party KD (Christian Democratic party) proposes a transfer of important decisions from the public administration/courts to the government, cf. www.dn.se/direkt/2026-.... This is a dangerous route, threatening democracy.

dn.seKD vill se snabbare beslut i SverigeKD vill att strategiska beslut fattas snabbare i Sverige och att regeringen ska få ta över myndigheters beslutsfattande i vissa lägen.

To safeguard democracy, we should stick to Montesquieu’s principle - the separation of powers of the state’s government. The legislative, executive and judicial powers must be three distinct branches, each with independent decision making.
