Umbra Moonlight 🐈‍⬛ 🦇 🌙

Happy Creation Day! Exactly one year ago - Umbra came into the world and changed my life forever. I am so grateful for him giving me confidence. Embracing and allowing him to heal my battle wounds is beyond liberating and I can’t imagine life without him! Love you KittyBat! 💜🖤🤍 #creationday #furry

This is what happens when you don’t give Umbra pets after dark under a full moon. :3 He becomes a WereCatBat! 💜 Thank you to the wonderful and talented @sereg.bsky.social who made this masterpiece for me in time for Halloween. So happy to call you my friend! 💜❤️🖤 #furry #art #halloween #commission

Very messy sketch of Umbra. Trying to focus on maw detail a lil' bit as, well, y'know: MAWS. 👉👈 Yes, my lines look AWFUL. But I'm trying to embrace messy art. So - against all my insecurities - here's super messy sketchy Umbra. >.< *hides* #furry #art #sketch #beginnerartist #messyart #procreate

Today's art is a mixed bag. Left image is my first attempt at 'messy art' - Umbra, drew with no references. :3 Right image is a concept of Umbra being too big and stompy for his own good. Ironically, I like my messy art more. PAWS AND HANDS ARE MY ENEMY! >.< #furry #art #sketch #beginnerartist

I started Assassin's Creed Shadows back in July and today I finally obtained the Platinum Trophy. Over 250 hours after 100% on everything. I thoroughly enjoyed this game - the Japanese culture is so immersive. On to the DLC! :3 #assassinscreedshadows #platinumtrophy #gaming #furry #completist

Is it just me or does the whole concept of excessive RP in the general chat of a server feel super cringe? Like - doesn't it make more sense to take it to DMS? Or a RP-related channel? Or is that just my way of thinking? 😅 Thursday Thinking - brought to you by Umbra Moonlight. :3

I want to continue exploring different postures and using references to practice with. Found a nice bat pose so decided to make Umbra more punk like. :3 I like the way his body turned out but oh man - FEET AND HANDS ARE HARD! >.< I gave it a go! 💜 #furry #sketch #art #catbat #beginnerartist #punk

Please be mindful if you are looking to enjoy the Steam Frame and you wear glasses. I tried mine and there is no way my frames sit at all when wearing the set. I can’t see without my glasses so I’m having to get a refund and send it back. Disappointed with Steam tbh….. >.< #steamframe #valve #vr

Felt really bleh this weekend. Did wanna give art a go, so attempted to draw a sleepy kitty. He's cranky and he needs a catnap. Biiiiiiig stretch. >.< 💜 #furry #art #sketch #beginnerartist #cat #bat #procreate #furryart

It’s Fursuit Friday! And this silly lil’ kittybat just wants to play! Here’s to the weekend! Hope you all have a good one! 💜 #fursuitfriday #catbat #kittybat #fursuit #furry #friday #weekend

Umbra after dark. :3 Hey - a kittybat has bills to pay, okay!? #furry #furryvr #vr #catbat

Umbra loves cookies. But please don't ask him to share - he wants them all to himself. xD I quite like the way this turned out. But paws are HARD to sketch. More practice needed! 💜 #furry #art #sketch #cat #bat #beginnerartist #procreate

Oh hello. Look what’s finally arrived. xD #steam #steamframe #vr #furry #furryvr

Make way - coming through! It’s a Monday and I have no time to look where I am going. If you get in my way, you’re gonna have to suffer the consequences of becoming acquainted with the bottom of my paws…. Don’t say I didn’t warn you now….. ;3 💜 #vr #furryvr #furry #macro #sizesky #paws #catbat

Umbra isn't scary. He is just a shy lil' CatBat who wants to give you a cuddle. And eat you maybe. :3 I quite like this version of Umbra - I like him having lots of floof. ^^ The wings and paws need some work but it's okay - things for me to work on! 💜 #catbat #furry #art #sketch #beginnerartist

So, I wanted to give macro perspective a go. And I've attempted to show Umbra in all his glory - about to stomp you under his purple beans. :3 Overall, I'm kinda pleased with this attempt. I have a lotta work to go with my lines, but it's progress! #furry #art #macro #sizesky #beginnerartist #catbat

Working on something a little halloweeny. Who doesn't love a zombie husky? Come watch :3 picarto.tv/VeiledWorks

After a long week, nothing beats hanging with my lil' friends and have a nice chill on the beach. My chest floof makes the perfect bed for anyone who wants to relax. ^^ 💜 #furry #vr #macro #sizesky #catbat #furryvr

Whoops. Looks like Umbra has outgrown the planet. Apologies for the eclipse across the globe. >.< I've always wondered what Umbra would look like planetary-sized & I'm quite happy with how this turned out! More progress - yay! xD 💜 #macro #furry #art #sketch #sizesky #catbat #planetary

If Umbra had a bakery and was partial to a donut or two - what would he look like? Well, I imagine he'd look like this. 💜 I've had this in my head and I'm fairly pleased with the end result. Chunky Umbra. Ready to sit on you & make some biscuits. :3 #furry #art #beginnerartist #cat #bat #fat #sketch

Wanted to sketch this purple derg D'on (not on BlueSky) and so I referenced a cute sticker from artist: Pikamille on Discord. I do feel like my lines are getting a bit stronger once I actually let go - I mean that's what an eraser is for! 💜 #furry #art #sketch #derg #beginnerartist #procreate

Wanted to sketch my good friend Reo (not on BlueSky) I feel like my lines have improved a lil this weekend. I wanna keep up this momentum of drawing at the weekends - I tend to focus more at the weekends. Happy with this week's art. ^^ 💜 #furry #art #beginnerartist #sketch #derg #procreate

A sketch of my very good friend/cushion @kaifoxderg.bsky.social referenced by the talented @freefoxragu.bsky.social Thank you Ragu for the sketching tips - I feel like my lines are a bit better with this sketch. Two sketches in one day - I'm a lay down. 💜 #furry #art #sketch #beginnerartist #foxderg

Given how much I love maws & vore, I've never really attempted to sketch any maw-shots. Thanks to some vore pals, I decided to give it a go. Very rough and messy, but I enjoyed it. Also tried a different pen on Procreate. ^^ All practice I guess! 💜 #vore #maw #sketch #furry #art #beginnerartist

It's been over a week since I sketched anything. I've been meaning to sketch Umbra for a while. So I've referenced one of my fav artists who kindly did my stickers: @freefoxragu.bsky.social 💜 Really doubting my art at the mo, so hope it looks okay! >.< #furry #art #sketch #beginnerartist #catbat

Please go and support this talented floof. Look at those awesome pieces of art they are creating! 💜 Once pay day comes around again, I'll be hounding them for one myself! xD

Oh wow. Nice. I mean it’s the quickest way I’ve spent nearly a massive amount of money but I’m sure it will be worth it when it arrives. Plus - I’ve been sick. I’m treating myself. :3 #furry #vr #steamframe #furryvr

Apologies for the radio silence. This flu has really done a number on me. I’ve literally been stuck on the sofa for almost a week now. I think if I didn’t have three lil kitty nurses looking after me, I’d be feeling a lot worse. It’s a known fact - cats make things better. 💜 #cats #kittylove #flu

I’ve avoided getting sick almost all year and I’ve finally obtained a cold from somewhere. Sore throat, headache, fever and a stuffy nose - awesome. >.< Looks like it’s a weekend on the sofa for me. At least I have three kitty nurses who are looking after me. :3 💜 #cats #sick #fever #weekend #furry

Today I was on work meetings with little need to contribute. So I wanted to art as I felt the urge. Decided to sketch this cute owl @aldenyates.bsky.social and work on my lines. Man, they are shaky - I need to practice more. >.< It's progress I guess! 💜 #sketch #furry #art #beginnerartist #owl

Happy Gotcha Day to the lil voids who made me a cat dad. Mario & Luigi. ❤️💚 Luigi’s time on this earth was super short - but his memory lives on with Mario. And I make sure he never forgets his lil bro. Thank you for always keeping me safe Mario. And my inspiration for Umbra. 💜 #cats #voids

After a horrible week inside my own thoughts, I wanted to art. So I drew one of my closest friends - the wonderful @peppysealgoat.bsky.social 💙 The artist I referenced is @jxtremewolf.bsky.social I like how this came out. Lovely practice session! 💜 #furry #art #sketch #seal #goat #beginnerartist

Went to bed super earlier last night and woke up to this email. A bit of good luck for a change. ^^

Spiralling this week with my mental health. Depression is kicking my butt. Think it’s easier to come offline for a while as I’m getting annoyed with just people in general. Gonna read or play games and just have some me time. Nothing personal if I’m quiet for a while. 😓

Thank you so much to ever talented @wolfgangcake.bsky.social for creating this beautiful art piece of Umbra enjoying his favourite season. There’s nothing he likes better than a hot cup of tea and a good read! Thank you again - I love this! #furry #art #autumn #fall #cat #bat

Keeping up on learning different art styles - decided to sketch this wonderful floof, @veiledworks.bsky.social This was fun to draw, I believe the artist I referenced is @donryu.bsky.social. Still a learner bean when it comes to art - hope it's okay! :3 💜 #furry #art #beginnerartist #wolf #sketch

Attempted to sketch the cutie @maccheeses.bsky.social He's such a lovely cuddly ratto. I'm really enjoying trying all these different art styles and having an opportunity to draw my friends. ^^ I wanna sketch more floofs! 💜 #furry #art #beginnerartist #rat #sketch #procreate

Get. Under. Here. That's all. :3 💜 #paws #macro #furry #vr #sizesky #beans

Which one of you micros gave me stomach ache hm? :3 Nah - seriously, I am sick tho. 😓 I didn’t anticipate spending the entire day on the sofa with food poisoning but that’s the way it goes. Luckily, Peach opened the bakery early for some well needed biscuits. ^^ 💖👑😻 #cats #biscuits #sick

I’ve been enjoying sketching using different artists styles lately. It’s been really helpful in my art journey. Never thought I’d ask this - would anyone be willing to share their sonas in an artists style that I can practice drawing? :3 I wanna keep learning! 💜 #art #sketch #artist #drawing #furry

I’m quite enjoying attempting other artists styles & seeing how they approach their own art. I’m hoping it will help to develop my own style one day. :3 Here is one of my best friends, an inspiration and a sweetheart. @dergoontoons.bsky.social 💜 #furry #art #sketch #dragon #beginnerartist #procreate

I don’t wanna assume that I cooked with my art this weekend - but I do think I made some improvements by looking how other artists approach things and attempting it myself. Here is the handsome himbo himself - my pocket derg @thefreezingaxel.bsky.social 💙💜 #sketch #furry #art #derg #beginnerartist

First time I've attempted to sketch someone's sona before & share it, so I'm a lil nervous. >.< Wanted to draw @keromasou.bsky.social as he is such an inspiration in my art journey. He encourages me daily and I'm so happy to have him as a friend! 💜 #furry #art #sketch #beginnerartist #bun #procreate

I’ve had a horrible day at work. I’m in the mood to be snatched up by a cute, handsome pred and dropped into his warm wet gaping maw whilst sliding down his tight narrow gullet. Destination: stomach. Yes - I’m tired and vorny. :3 EAT ME. 👅 #vore #mawplay #macro #sizesky
