If you saw my Winestream, you saw this video. Today the Russians attacked the house where it was filmed and also attacked the firefighters who arrived to put out the blaze. Volunteers got out some, but not all of the animals If you want to donate to Project Hope, now is the time.

I haven't done a Winestream in a while. I plan to do one on October 24 with the specific intention of raising money to support relief efforts in #Ukraine In short, the more money we raise, the more I shall drink. What could possibly go wrong?

A year ago I allowed myself to get bullied off of social media. I spent the last 5 days in Kyiv, in Ukraine, where I met the bravest, most defiant and resilient people. It made me feel deeply ashamed to have given in to the internet bullies. I am not going to let it happen again. #slavaukraini

And before the questions come in: 1) I was GoH at a furry convention (Furrest Con) 2) Shaheds are "meh." Rockets, though, are scary. 3) I spent more time in an air-raid shelter than I did in bed. 4) The Russian attacks are indeed indiscriminate. I mean, the farmers market? Seriously, guys, WTF?

I want to make one thing clear. An unwelcome person snuck into our fursuit parade. I was standing by the escalators and saw every single suit that went by, and I did not see him. I still don't know how he got by me, but if I had spotted him, I would have said, "Hold it. You...come here."

And yes, I had my picture taken with him. Fifteen years ago. If you prefer, I will simply refuse any requests for pictures from now on. "No, I'm sorry, you can't have a photo because you may do something horrible ten years from now and I don't want to be associated with that."

Last year, the North Carolina senate approved a bill that would criminalize wearing a surgical mask in public, but which allowed Klansmen to wear hoods. At the time I tried to call out what I saw as blatant institutionalized racism, but the callout was misconstrued. My apologies for being unclear.
