#5DebutAlbumsFinal There aren't many wrong answers here, so I'm following a self imposed rule by voting for artists whose subsequent careers aren't completely overshadowed by their debuts. So goodbye Strokes, Aztec Camera, Pretenders, Sex Pistols, and, most painfully for me, Television.

An old fashioned term that we use -- luncheonette -It's such an old fashioned term, but a beautiful term. Luncheonette- It says a restaurant with different things in it.

Stephen Marche@stephenmarche.bsky.social

The line I can't forget from Trump's press conference today was "immigrants work in luncheonettes." I'm not sure I know what a luncheonette even is. What drug caused that particular synapsis to fire at that moment?

A little while ago, my parents' cat Bridget went missing. As the weeks dragged on, they became extremely worried. My dad devised a way to distract himself: he began to paint Bridget's adventures, imagining her travelling through time and popping up in some of art and music's most iconic scenes.
