76 years ago, teacher Mary Emma Allison and minister Clyde Allison wondered how they could make a difference through trick-or-treating. That Halloween, kids in their Philadelphia neighborhood collected 🪙s alongside 🍬 — raising $17 for UNICEF. It was the start of a national #ToT4UNICEF tradition:

After years of disruption, loss and devastation, many children in #Gaza have returned to the classroom — and they're holding on to hope for their future. Hear from students on their first day of school about what it means to be learning again:

A 2010 visit to Malawi inspired @ms.now's @lawrenceodonnell.bsky.social to partner with UNICEF USA to find a way to provide desks and scholarships for girls. The #KINDFund has since changed the lives of hundreds of thousands of school children in the African nation.

This week, @atlanticcouncil.bsky.social hosted a thoughtful panel discussion on how governments, the private sector and humanitarian organizations can work together to improve the lives of children throughout the world. Our own Kathleen Fox joined to discuss UNICEF's lifesaving nutrition programs.

Last year, American families, foundations, faith communities, and companies gave about $858 million to UNICEF through UNICEF USA — "a powerful signal of how much Americans believe in this work," says Fox. This support has a cumulative impact for our communities and #ForEveryChild.

Did you know that UNICEF helps to vaccinate more than 400 million children against polio globally every year? Ahead of #WorldPolioDay, learn how these efforts protect communities from the disease. #EndPolio

Vaccines are often said to be victims of their own success because people forget how devastating these preventable diseases can be. But when vaccine rates fall, these forgotten diseases can return with a vengeance, with devastating consequences: bit.ly/482xuWU Via The Conversation

UNICEF Clubs, UNICEF Next Gen, our partners and donors — all of them have unique stories that drive their advocacy for children around the world. Last month, many of them had the opportunity to meet with their Members of Congress, both in person and virtually, to share why UNICEF matters.

In meetings across 10 states, our supporters made a strong case for core UNICEF funding for fiscal year 2027. They also encouraged their members to advance the Global Child Thrive Act, which focuses on incorporating early childhood interventions into existing foreign assistance programs.

These moments of connection are crucial for raising awareness of how making an investment #ForEveryChild benefits all of us. We're grateful to everyone who took the time to make their voices heard. You can still join them in taking action. Write to your Members of Congress now: buff.ly/X1QESoj
