Join us for Pride tomorrow! Meet us at Levels Cafe - wear your SPN t-shirts, bring glitter, face paints and flags! Or find our banner at the Scottish Parliament before we set off on the march. Looking forward to seeing you all there! #Pride2026 #HappyPride #PrideIsAProtest #EdinburghPride 🤩☀️🌈

Our monthly in-person social is TONIGHT! We have a change of venue (The Auld Hoose is sadly no more) - Union Social @ Teviot. Meet us there from 5.30pm onwards, look out for the rainbow flag! 🏳️‍🌈

8th November marks Intersex Day of Remembrance. The event began in 2005 as "Intersex Solidarity Day" following an invitation issued by Joëlle-Circé Laramée. This follows Intersex Awareness Day (26th October) with some countries marking the time between the two events as the "14 days of Intersex"

October 19th marks the beginning of Ace week. First established in as Asexual Awareness Week back in 2010 by Sara Beth Brooks. With the help of AVEN (Asexuality Visibility and Education Network) this event has grown into Ace Week seeking to raise awareness of Asexuality and the Ace experience.

The 8th October marks International Lesbian Day. Celebrated in New Zealand since 1980 and Australia since 1990, it is now an International day designed to highlight the issues faced by lesbians and to recognise and celebrate their achievements and experiences.

The first Friday of the month has sneaked up on us again! 📅 Staff Pride Network Evening Social is TODAY at The Auld Hoose, 5:30PM onwards. Drop in anytime - all LGBT+ staff & allies welcome! We'll be in the seating area left of the bar 🌈

Today (July 14th) is International Non-Binary People's Day! Started by Katje Van Loon in 2012, the date falls halfway between International Women's Day and Men's Day. It raises awareness of non-binary identities and kicks off Non-Binary Awareness Week.
