The Pike execution failure. If this does not prompt the United States to do some soul searching, we are no better than irate chimps hurling feces out of their cages.

We could not excise the Trump Malignancy after his felonies, rapes, bankruptcies, crypto scams. Comparatively, she is a tear-that-sticker-off-hotel-mattress level offender.

The Putin-Trump diesel deal is disastrous and illegal — but it is also a sign of the desperation of both men, one fearing to lose a war, the other to lose an election.

Lower the price of ground beef. From the Hamburgler himself. "Plebes, go have a Big Mac."

I wonder why 90 days. Couldn’t be because the midterms are in… 74 days, right? Right? Apparently communist price controls are fine when you’re trying to get votes. Who knew?

The White House pushing ahead with that ballroom construction after the Supreme Court’s temporary order says a lot about priorities. Screams of disregard of citizenry and law. #clarity

Strong communities are built by people who understand restraint. Not silence — restraint. Restraint of tongue and pen and keyboard. Knowing when to act is as important as knowing how. #strength

This was a thought all summer: The shift in the way people talk about ambition now is interesting. It’s less about climbing and more about choosing what’s worth carrying or sacrificing. My elders credit the down to Earth Gen X folks....and the adoption of casual Fridays..... #perspective

Trump ,Steve Miller and ICE are deporting people to countries they have never been and incarcerating them there for slave labor or whatever… why are we letting this happen ?

The rise in community‑college enrollment this fall says something simple. People still believe in building a future, even when the world feels unstable. Grateful for my 4 years at UK....but I see the unreasonableness of the expense and support the community college movement. #hope

I was young the first time the news disturbed me and how fortunate for me my great-grandmother was alive. "Oh Allie, I am so sorry. None of this is new. Your parents think they discovered injustice. [she cackled] Hardship and cruelty are constants best combated, not by outrage, but love."

The five biggest defense contractors spent more than $100B on buybacks and dividends since 2020. I have a simple question for defense contractors: If taxpayers are giving you billions to build military equipment, why are you buying back your own stock? This needs to stop.

Congress spent the week arguing about “efficiency” while producing absolutely nothing. If they ever streamline the process, I’ll send flowers. Kidding. I'll send a box of fresh shit. #DemocracyWatch

Urban people (such as this humble narrator) know that at night you get the real version of cities: tired people, honest conversations, and a kind of resilience that doesn’t need branding. #strongertogether

Southern Lebanon’s evacuations highlight this truth: Fragile states don’t fail all at once; they fail in layers — governance first, then infrastructure, then public trust, and finally the ability to protect civilians. "A wise man learns from the mistakes of others."

How we call it an agreement and then add “as negotiations continue”.. What did they agree to? Agreed to negotiate? If there’s some urgent need to congratulate Trump, so he shows up at G7 — he literally had his 80th birthday. Why are all pretending there is a deal when there isn’t? Confusing.

Artificial, manipulated economy. Low pay. High prices. Suffocating the masses.

Ran to the store tonight. Bought bread, buns, pickles, ham for the dogs, soda, a wild impulse splurge of $.99 (on sale) small box of pasta, some vegan cheese, and a french roll of bread for the hummus. That was it. $99. I heard the total and thought, 'How on earth can families feed their kids?'
