Long Time, First Time

Just finished Exit Party, the new EStJM… really enjoyed it, esp the second half… loved the epigrammatic final mini chapter, going to let that sit with me for a bit

His fame leveled up w his later books, but Colson Whitehead’s first, The Intuitionist, still floors me However much love @sabs.bsky.social’s How Far The Light Reaches got, it’s still not enough

@jamellebouie.net nice “you can’t libel the dead” hat in the YouTube video. I got into @ceaubin.com’s podcast after the McClellan episode and have since gone back and listened to a bunch… great show! in my weekly rotation now!

I can’t believe the NYT still refuses to recognize a word and a lifestyle

Coyote vs Acme was a delight! What a fun movie!

Continuing my quest for the NYT Spelling Bee to recognize this word

Man, Argentina are such shitheels today

I didnt like them either, but these hydration breaks have led to some fresher legs late in the game

Aaronson’s touch is just brutal

Man, Acuff to the Hawks would have been great - McCollum showed the value of a scoring guard on that team and they were thisclose

MITCH I TAKE EVERYTHING BACK

Excellent timeout by Brown

Man Deuce just does not have it this series #KnicksSky

I don’t get why the Spurs challenge this - why be afraid of Wemby getting one foul? The refs aren’t going to let him foul out anyway #KnicksSky

Need more ball movement… offense is regressing to Brunson dribbling out the clock #KnicksSky

“Knicks trying to steal Game 1” Man, they just straight up took their best shot and came back stronger. Nothing steal-y about it #KnicksSky

Put in Dadiet #KnicksSky

Knicks, that’s the way to do it #KnicksSky

Always liked Jarrett Allen, happy to see him having a signature playoff game

Ngl, I saw this and I thought, “man, is Jeff Green *still* in the league???”

Bridges needed that! #KnicksSky

Cmon NYT!

Great job getting Clarkson in there… hate the bench lineups without shot creation #KnicksSky

Alvarado going to be like +14 in 3 minutes, amazing #KnicksSky

Happy for CJ McCollum playing well… always liked him, glad he’s playing meaningful games again after his exile in NO/Was #KnicksSky

Every part of KAT’s game is humming except his passing… just needs a bit more calibration on those #knickssky

Let’s go Knicks!!!

Man Tyrese Maxey is so good. Just electric to watch

@lisafdavis.bsky.social @profgabriele.com such a cool podcast on manuscripts… I love that idea of so many different corners of knowledge coming together when studying manuscripts, and of them being four dimensional objects. Very cool!

Knicks, wyd???

Oof… Knicks really struggling at the end of this long west coast trip
