a cool thing about indie animation is that it's expected to save the entire industry, every show has to look better than the things the fans grew up on or it's a waste of time, there's no union to be found anywhere, no budget for any of it, and asking the audience to pay anything to watch is illegal

This is great news; getting deindexed is hugely demotivating. At the end of August I had a game get deindexed after being up for less than 24 hours, and it completely killed early views. Half as many day 1 views as usual, 90% less for day 2 and beyond. Made me just want to completely quit.

We're changing how our risk scanners work to help prevent legitimate games from being stuck unindexed, read the update here: itch.io/t/7172464/oc... This is hard to get right, thank you for your patience

Oops, realizing i meant foursome instead of threesome there. Already established a threesome on the previous page with the spitroast mention.

A sexual preference for hyperinflation 👀

If you think we don't need to look at how sexual preference is used as an abusive dynamic that denies freedom of movement and causes long lasting hyperinflation, you are the proverbial Australian idiot 👏

Yeah I dunno man when I see the new Link outfit all the maximalist details trigger an immediate-disgust reaction, trained over the course of the last few years of having to wade through AI slop. I don't think it *is* AI generated, but it gives the same impression. Very unsettling.

Does anyone know if there's some sort of mass issue with new itch games (just adult games?) not getting indexed recently? This is the first time one of my games hasn't been indexed immediately. Guess it could have been deindexed manually as well? Idk why though. #gamedev

I see the first page of the itch support subforum is filled with "my game isn't indexed" complaints, so that makes me think maybe it's a widespread technical problem or a new policy change. Or maybe there's just too many games getting uploaded lately and staff can't the volume? #gamedev

A lot of people are replying along the lines of "how can that number possibly be that low?" But in my core friend group of 6, all in our 30s, our dating histories are basically 2, 1, 1, 1, 0, and 0 total sexual partners, as far as I'm aware. And personally I didn't start dating till I was ~30.

#ttrpg #nsfw Trying to design some rules for impregnation in a ttrpg. The mechanic feels okay but what the hell does "mixed success" on getting pregnant mean? It can't be "takes multiple tries" because that doesn't work for "come back later and find out they're pregnant" scenarios.

And it can't be "might have a miscarriage later" because that's too sad for a fun power fantasy porn logic game. Can't put "regular pregnancy" on the "mixed success" roll and "twins" on the "complete success" roll because the complete success roll happens too often, that should be saved for a crit.

Can't drop the idea of mixed success because that would put it out of sync with the rest of the game's skill system and it would bug me forever. Maybe it's "the pregnancy is more taxing" or something? Like more aches and pains and morning sickness? Seems unfun though.

Is it weird that I thought the jax stuff was a little *less* obvious on a second watch of the TADC finale? It seemed completely blatant the first time, but then the second time I was like "maybe it actually *is* open to interpretation" (to a pre-gooseworx-confirmation audience anyway)
