Your costs continue to rise, and corrupt politicians keep cashing in. Florida politicians illegally diverted $10M in taxpayer dollars meant for our neighbors' health care to political activities through Hope FL, and now they’re spending precious time and resources trying to kill the story.

Since last year, 16,000 of my neighbors have lost their health coverage to fund massive tax breaks for billionaires.

Extreme politicians have sold the Big Ugly Bill under the guise of tax cuts for families, but here’s a secret they don’t want you to know: those tax cuts for families are temporary. Their tax breaks for billionaires are permanent, and so are the health care cuts.

Life already costs too much. You shouldn’t worry that corruption, fraud, and corporate wrongdoing will make it worse. The FTC is key to keeping corporations accountable—that’s why I introduced the 21st Century FTC and FTC Autonomy Acts with @Schakowsky.house.gov.

Families need affordable health coverage, not more economic pain caused by ripping health care away. I led a resolution to ensure that a predatory rule change to kick 2 million Americans off their health care and send costs soaring does not go into effect.

Today, the Senate is voting on its companion to ensure everyone can access health care—not just the wealthy and well-connected. I’m committed to making health care affordable and accessible, and I’ll work with anyone to get it done, regardless of their party or chamber.

Floridians are losing health coverage faster than anyone else in the country thanks to extreme politicians letting ACA tax credits expire. They’ve created a cost-of-living crisis and put health care out of reach for millions.

I’m proud to have secured millions of federal dollars in storm recovery for my neighbors. The $709 million fund is currently accepting applications for Hillsborough County residents, supporting long-term investment in recovery and resilience for neighbors affected by hurricanes Helene and Milton.

Extreme politicians are ending the Medicare Part D Premium Stabilization initiative early, raising prescription prices for seniors. Life is already expensive enough, and seniors shouldn’t have to choose between their life-saving medications and their groceries.

Fossil-fueled power plants are expensive, dirty, and make our communities sicker. The EPA’s rollback of life-saving pollution limits is a dangerous, corrupt decision that gives handouts to Big Oil and Gas and does nothing to lower your costs.

Electric bills are already soul-crushing. Families shouldn’t be forced to pay even more to cover the massive energy demands of billion-dollar data center corporations. This week, the House will vote on my bipartisan Ratepayer Protection Act to ensure Big Tech pays its bills—not Florida ratepayers.

In 2025, I called for a formal investigation into $10M that was stolen from Florida taxpayers. The perpetrators have since been promoted, and there has been no accountability for their corrupt actions.

Good news from TPA! 👏🏼 The airport took the time to thoroughly review their decision to opt into TSA Gold+, and ultimately decided to reverse course. This decision will keep 700+ federal officers employed, keep passengers the most safe and keep our airport operating smoothly.

Our farmers, workers, and families are already under enough financial strain. Allowing bad actors like the Chinese Communist Party to interfere with our fertilizer supply chain sends costs even higher and creates uncertainties we can't afford.
