1/4 Continuing our plastic free July theme…today is soft plastics.

3/4 Whilst some local authorities are trialling soft waste collection, did you know that most supermarkets such as Sainsburys, Tesco, Co-op and Lidl now collect soft plastic waste for recycling.

4/4 Make sure you rinse out your wrappers first, bag them up and deposit them next time you shop! #UWTSDlib #PlasticFreeJuly

1/4 Continuing our plastic free July theme…today is soft plastics.

2/4 Unfortunately, some plastics are still, for the moment at least, unavoidable. There appears to be no alternative for crisp packets, chocolate wrappers, cat food pouches and other soft plastics pouches so the least we can do is recycle them.

1/4 ‘Gan barhau â’n thema Gorffennaf Di-blastig...plastigau meddal yw pwnc y dydd.

3/4 Er bod rhai awdurdodau lleol yn treialu casgliadau gwastraff meddal, a wyddoch chi fod y rhan fwyaf o archfarchnadoedd fel Sainsburys, Tesco, Co-op a Lidl bellach yn casglu gwastraff plastig meddal i’w ailgylchu.

4/4 Gwnewch yn siŵr eich bod yn rinsio eich gorchuddion yn gyntaf, yna eu rhoi mewn bag a’u cymryd i’r man casglu y tro nesaf yr ewch chi i siopa! #LlyfPCYDDS #GorffennafDiblastig

1/4 ‘Gan barhau â’n thema Gorffennaf Di-blastig...plastigau meddal yw pwnc y dydd.

2/4 Yn anffodus, mae’n dal i fod yn amhosibl osgoi rhai plastigau, am y tro, beth bynnag. Mae’n ymddangos nad oed defnydd amgen ar gyfer pacedi creision, gorchudd siocledi, cydau bwyd cath a chydau plastig meddal eraill, ond fe allwn ni eu hailgylchu.

1/3 James Stuart and Nicholas Revett visited Athens in the mid-18th century, hoping to measure the classical buildings there. Unfortunately, they were assumed to be spies and forced to leave.

2/3 After their return to Britain, they published Antiquities of Athens (1762-1816), one of the earliest accurate records of classical Greek architecture.

3/3 It was to be a significant sourcebook for architects and designers until well into the 19th century. #UWTSDlib #EYAArchitecture #SpecialCollections

1/3 Ymwelodd James Stuart a Nicholas Revett ag Athen yng nghanol y 18fed ganrif, gan obeithio mesur yr adeiladau clasurol yno. Yn anffodus, tybiwyd mai ysbiwyr oedden nhw a'u gorfodi i adael.

2/3 Ar ôl dychwelyd i Brydain, dyma nhw’n cyhoeddi Antiquities of Athens (1762-1816), sef un o'r cofnodion cywir cynharaf o bensaernïaeth Groeg glasurol.

3/3 Byddai’n dod yn llyfr ffynhonnell o bwys i benseiri a dylunwyr tan ymhell i mewn i'r 19eg ganrif. #LlyfrPCYDDS #EYAPensaernïaeth #CasgliadauArbennig
